I have seen excerpts from the speech Mitch Romney will give today. I agree completely with him about Donald Trump. But Cruz and Rubio? Seriously? Where is a Republican in the race who lives up to the high bar he will set for the Republican Party today?

The best the GOP can do today is provide with us spitball throwers, cheaters, and bullies? Aside from Kasich, the answer yes. These nasty little fifth grade boys who have been given megaphones are the product of a party whose Congressional leaders have for years consciously stirred the beast of prejudice and protected privilege while seeking power.

I remember, with appreciation, avuncular, far-sighted Eisenhower, Nixon’s opening to China, the best of Reagan (especially in retrospect), George HW Bush (aside from Willie Horton), even GW Bush (rallying us after 9-11, pointing out the war against terror was not against all Islam, his efforts to combat HIV around the world).

But these guys? Have you no shame?

Trump is merely saying things (using some very harsh and low level words so that he connects with a segment) that the Republican party believes and has stood for for years…behind closed doors.

Trump is merely a transparent Republican - and that is why the Koch brothers and others are NOT spending to defeat him!

Several foreign leaders who are adversaries to the US are hoping that Trump is elected to the WHITE House.

  • Putin knows that Trump and his rhetoric and views would throw NATO into complete chaos
  • Others know that the UN will likely pull out of New York City and locate in either Geneva or The Hague. The UN, because of the right wing extremism taking over the US, has already been gradually moving UN personnel and organization out of the US…and to especially escape the spying and ease dropping by the CIA and FBI.
  • Several leaders across Latin America are hoping Trump wins…as that will alienate many countries from the US and make them more free to do what’s right Vs doing what the US demands.

Kasich is Gingrichian without the sneer and adultery problem. Policy-wise no better than Cruz or Rubio’s stated goals, which are quite similar, too.
