I should clarify that I don’t think the entire investigation is done, just the special counsel’s role in it. If Mueller had some work left to do when Barr canned him, then his report will almost certainly identify everything that still needed to be done. That explains yesterday’s report that the grand jury is still active. The difference is that all the investigating is now being done by Barr’s DOJ, not the special prosecutor.

Obstruction in the middle of 5th Avenue. This is Trump admitting that he put Barr in there to kill the Mueller probe. The probe goes on by the way. It’s only the OSC that is shutting down.

Some possibilities floated: (1) Barr would not let Mueller complete the investigation into obstruction, (2) Barr particularly not allowing Mueller deposing Trump to determine intent of obstruction. So Mueller throws his hands up, and gives the report to Barr without a conclusion.

Then there is the lack of any comment on the whole point of the SC: what are the results of the counterintelligence probe as to Trump acting as a foreign agent/national security threat.

Not accurate. The TURNOUT of elibible voters was estimated at 58%. Which was very high. Though sadly lower in key swing states.

If Al Franken hadn’t been Senator, Sessions wouldn’t have had a question to answer with a lie about his Russian contacts in testimony to Congress, long after he was confirmed as AG.
Which is why he recused himself.
