Discussion: Trump: I Don’t Have To Prepare Much For North Korea, ‘It’s About The Attitude’

There a fair number of people who agree with that sentiment. Alas.

Yes, there are. Even when there was a ballot measure giving us the choice to either abolish the death penalty or makes some fixes so death row prisoners could be executed more quickly and not languish until they died of old age, people voted for the latter.

And “Team America: World Police.” (Speaking of North Korea.)

Even friends of mine who consider themselves liberal are “eye for an eye” when it comes to this subject.

SMH

Revenge is the worst possible basis for a criminal justice system but this was absolutely going to happen the minute they started up with the goddamn “victim’s statements” in courts.

I still see red when I recall the Willingham arson case in Texas and how eager Perry was to execute him. It was proved afterwards he couldn’t have done it

The OK City bombing trial lasted something like 6 weeks because the judge wouldn’t allow an excess of victims’ statements.

Must be nice to be a stable genius and have Premier Abe of Japan do all the prep work for ya and come to town to tell ya face to face how to deal with cagey Koreans.

trump has got to be the laziest person ever to inhabit that office. Off to the day’s work at 11. A two hour lunch break and quit for the day at 6. About a 5 hour work day. The rest of the day is watching Fox to get his talking points.

I suppose now trump will be taking credit for the work of the Curiosity rover on Mars that reports back it found traces of organic matter on Mars. trump will crow that all the Hippies will be glad that Mars is ‘organic’.

I need a drink I think.

Quite likely.

He’s perfecting his handshake and having extra-specially long ties made. He’s also working on shooting his cuffs and throwing his chin out like Mussolini. In fact, he’s leading with his chin.

What trump really lives for…

It’s not the good things he could do with that wealth, it’s only about how much he can get to park on that shelf. Hold those bills like they are your favorite child, donald. That stack of paper is all that really matters to him.

Clearly this was one of the days he felt rich because he was feeling up stacks of bills.

Myself, I prefer holding actual kids that way. I was just looking in old files to see if I could find the one of me holding my under an hour old grandson… but I could not find it easily… I was so damned proud that day.

So paraphrasing the spox here, ‘She doesn’t know it’s untrue.’

Shhhh. I don’t think there are. Don’t tell them until it’s too late and he has to eat Bibimbap. He’ll crap his giant large man pants.

Def not for donald, but I’d be happy to try it. Would never go after kimchi however.

It’s delicious!

Mmm… hungry hungry hungry for some bi bim bop!

May I recommend the recipe in the back of the book by the same name by Linda Sue Park? The book and the recipe are favs with the pre k set.

There has to be the tinkling of, well, tinkle.

What an image. Thanks loads!

Edit: The pic and the kimichi looks great! My comment was directed at the “man pants”–I almost fell out of my chair laughing…

Thanks! And I can read it free on my Kindle.
