Discussion for article #247393

Get used to it Trumpsters. He’ll be denying all manner of shit he promised as soon as it’s useful for him to do so.

This is like when he denied saying that POWs were losers. Who are you going to believe, Donald or your lying ears?

Not a joke - a serious question>
Does Trump have a health issue? Does he have early onset dementia or Alzheimer’s?

He seems to have a real hard time recalling what he says and stuff he says over and over.

It’s as weasley as the notion of sending his top investigators to Hawaii to find the president’s birth certificate.

Paying legal fees:

ā€œWell, I’m going to look at it. I’m going to see, you know, what was behind this because it was a strange event,ā€ Trump said. ā€œI’ve actually instructed my people to look into it, yes.ā€

Investigating the birth certificate:

ā€œI have people that have been studying it and they cannot believe what they’re finding,ā€ Trump said an interview that aired Thursday Morning.

Asked if he has assigned people specifically to search in Hawaii, Trump said, "Absolutely.

FACT: There isn’t anything this man won’t lie about, even when he’s caught on camera making statements to the contrary.

Run the tape Snuggleupogus. It really isn’t that hard to show your viewers the truth if you really wanted to make the point. How hard can that be?

And this is what some people in this country consider ā€˜Presidential’. Good lord.

His people, my people…it’s a very strange construct. Not Americans, or Patriots, but his people.

I’m so glad George Stephanopoulos was ready with a citation to refute Trump’s denial.
Hiring research interns are hard.

On NBC’s ā€œMeet the Pressā€ on Sunday, Trump was asked whether he would pay McGraw’s legal fees, as he once offered to do for supporters who rough up protesters.

ā€œI've actually instructed my people to look into it, yes,ā€ Trump responded.

In several television interviews Sunday, Trump denied condoning violence.

But at a rally with Sarah Palin last month in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Trump encouraged a few thousand supporters to beat up anyone who hurled a tomato at him, saying security had warned him that might happen.

ā€œIf you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them, would you?ā€ Trump said, drawing cheers and laughter. ā€œ***Seriously, OK? Just knock the hell — I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise. I promise. They won’t be so much, because the courts agree with us too — what’s going on in this country***.ā€

Looking forward to the GOP figuring out how to get rid of this abscess; then he’ll claim he was never really running for President!

Goddammit! It;s almost as if being a liar is a feature, not a bug, if you are a GOP Presidential candidate.

Is the pervasive hatred that Trump tapping into so blindingly overwhelming that it creates this type of disconnect from reality.

I weep for our nation.

Trump: I deny it 100%, I never said that. That was a different Trump. As Carson said, there are two Trumps. In reality though, there are so many Trumps that I can’t even keep track of.
Carson: Likable Trump would have never said that. We will only see likable Trump in general election .

HIS people consider him presidential, the same people of his who investigate or maybe don’t.

Latinos sometimes uses mi gente to address other Latinos which means my people to indicate a sense of togetherness, my community, my friends, my family, but Trump only means my henchmen.

No, he’s just typical of someone who makes shit up as they blow along without thinking things through. His spoken words completely by-pass the cerebellum so no cognition takes place ergo his spoken words do not become committed to memory.

He’s not someone who says what he means and means what he says.

And he’s also got this thing that women accuse men of all the time, he’s a shitty listener.

Let’s face it. The media really doesn’t want to hold his feet to the fire or hold him accountable. They could show him the tapes of him saying these things as he’s on their shows, ask him to explain himself right after they did, and every time he tried to lie or weasel his way out of answering…go back to the tape showing his statements. In other words, never let him off the hook by lying or changing the subject. But they don’t. They’re too worried in the long run they might offend him and worried they’ll lose access to his sorry ass. Its all song and dance. Its all bullshit.

He doesn’t listen to what he says and he doesn’t need to remember it. It’s the WWE mentality and approach: read the mob like a book, say what most incites them and drives the advertising dollars. He’s not a politician–he’s a WWE promoter. Which is why he’s the GOP front-runner: because the lizard-brain base is only capable of grokking communication the level of WWE rants.
