Recent research indicates that it started in an almost self-organizing manner, rather than strictly top down, because Antisemitism was really the only coherent and consistent element of the crude ideological mix that Adolf Hitler concocted.
While on a different level I could easily see the dehumanizing and deportation of Hispanics escalate in a similar manner under a Trump presidency. Once the monster is unleashed it creates a dynamic of its own.

And, I have to say, I know many fine Republicans who, if they shared much of what transpired on the far end of the right spectrum over the last 20 or so years, had the good taste not to mention it or the better taste to quietly condemn it.

For those of you doubting Donald Trunps character, just look at his children. They are all well educated, successful, people. None of them are entitled brats whoāve been in and out of rehab. THAT says a lot about Mr. Trump.

The reality is that some things have a momentum all their own once a certain pivot point or rubicon has been crossed. Personally, Iām uncertain how this will all flush out in the end. Hopefully in the toilet where it belongs. But I donāt want to dismiss or deny what I see or perceive with my own eyes (and Jewy sensitivities), as you have done by minimizing the effect this is having on a large portion of the country. Coming from Germany you should know this I would think. By the way, what did all the leading political scientists at the time, before Hitlerās inescapable rise to power became a done deal, have to say about how he was tackling the economy in Germany. I doubt they saw much of what was coming. What they did see by way of scapegoating those people? Ah, but that was the least of their concerns at the time, was it not? Nice try.
