Yeah I knew about that lull in combat. I was addressing how Poland was massacred by the German army. There was nothing phony about that 5-6 week period. And Hitler in his megalomania in a speech before the Reichstag declared war on America. A very bad tactical blunder as it turned out.

I canât believe in 2016 weâre even having to go there, but thatâs what happens when the greatest generation is dying out and for the most part is in our rear view mirror. It was bound to happen, and thereâs no one left to tell the truth firsthand anymore about how Germany got so corrupted and sidetracked by fascist ideology. Hell, Americans donât even read the basics in their history books anymore, not just about America but other countries as well. Its all left for opinion-making now. Just ask Texas. They want to rewrite the history books we teach to our children to this day. Iâm no expert on history, but I do know the shit I see in a dRumpf Presidency is unbelievably sick and twisted in the worst possible way. When someone gets seriously or mortally hurt at one of his rallies, will they just write that off too??

It started with the salute and pledges of personal loyalty. That is something Trump has asked for and it makes me really nervous. When you mix in his obvious racism and admiration of the dictatorial style of âleadershipâ where one personâs word is instant supreme law⌠Building walls, verbal abuse of Mexicans, women, the worldâs second most popular religion⌠calling the voters in Iowa stupid, claiming he could shoot someone and not lose followers⌠the worldâs greatest memoryâŚetc. well then taken together this makes a not so very attractive picture of a potential POTUS.
Iâm not the one carried away. His followers are. Millions of them. I find it VERY disturbing.
Be real careful what you wish for because in the wake of the destruction of the GOP (yes I would like that in a vicarious sort of way) what collateral damage would happen?

Whaaa??? Name ONE other politician that asks for or encourages loyalty oaths at rallies. Imagine if Hilary or Bernie did this.
You know who comes closest? George W. There were actually people in his administration who thought that they had sworn an oath to him, not to the Constitution, when they accepted their positions. At least one of them testified to this before Congress.
