‘A recipe for scandal’: Trump conflicts of interest point to constitutional crisis

They write that the EC may reject Trump over these conflicts of interests. Seems unlikely to me.

We are in uncharted territory here. The EU is fighting for survival. None of the EU governments like that person.

Only Trump is allowed scams that fill his coffers.

It’s terrifyingly amusing to see a person try to talk ethics when he’s so thoroughly bad that he literally cannot imagine what being a good, ethical person is like. “You complained when I did what you’re doing now! And now you’re doing now what I did then! Which is bad! Because–um–wait a minute…”

Only other thing of interest to me is that while I see no reason to suspect actual tampering with results happened, at least yet, damn if they haven’t seemed awfully eager to move on from the election. A recount after a close vote isn’t that uncommon, but they’re acting like someone pulled over for a taillight who’s got a pound of coke in the trunk. I swear the whole thing is dirty, shaky, and yes, rigged. Are there authorities asking questions about the Russian connection? About the FBI? Warrants to look at bank records? Supoenas? What in the hell are these chiselers so nervous about? The thing about people like Roger Stone, they’ll rat you out if they get in a jam. And there’s nothing in Trump’s world but a whole pack of Roger Stone types. Then there’s the question of how the whole so-called “deep state” world thinks about Trump. They may not want a wild man like him running things, and now that the worst has happened they may be moving to play whatever cards they hold. I think if you look back you’ll see I’m not a conspiracy guy, but if there were ever a time to wonder what’s going on under the surface, the time is now.

Holy Crap – Stein was only on the ballot in 45 states? How the hell did I miss that?

It’s signatures! You stand outside grocery stores and get signatures. If you can’t organize enough to get your presidential campaign on the ballot in 50 states, you’re not a real campaign.

The more I learn about the Greens and Stein the less impressed I am.

Release his tax returns? Don’t count on it. He’s a scammer and a cheapo.

Please don’t expect maturity for Trump. He’s too old for that. His number one is Trump, the American people come far behind.

I believe the heads of AARP understand exactly what it means. AARP is no longer an organization that lobbies on behalf of the best interests of its members – they’ve morphed into a mega-business and are in it only for their shareholders. They are selling insurance and seek to charge the highest premiums they can con over their members into paying. They are well aware a Ryan budget and end of Medicare-as-know-it means enormous profits for them. AARP sold their souls over a decade or so back when they sold out to United HealthCare (I believe that’s their primary policy, anyway). They’ve been evil ever since. This is why they’re not warning their senior members about the coming drastic changes. Maximize profits by cornering the market on what will soon be a very vulnerable group of people.

Get over it Donald! You can’t control the recount effort. It’s simply “par for the course”. If you’re confident you won the race :checkered_flag:, then there should not be anything for you to worry. So screaming foul, isn’t going to stop the RECOUNTS!

The scariest part of that article is that David Clark may be a cabinet member. Of Homeland Security no less. I live in the Milwaukee area and he is an absolute lunatic. Completely unhinged and incompetent. My guess is that the officers in the Milwaukee County Sheriffs department are thrilled because it’ll get him out of Milwaukee. Giving him the levers of National Security is a frightening thing.

But they’ll do it in a way that those currently on Medicare won’t be affected, or will at least be led to believe that they won’t be affected. They’ll probably even cut a deal to preserve traditional Medicare for those who are close, say 55+. Younger people won’t get agitated because 1) they don’t think they’ll ever be old and infirm, and 2) they don’t realize that caring for their parents will be one hell of a burden if their parents don’t have good insurance. By the time the shit hits the fan, it will be too late to resurrect one of the most successful social insurance programs in our history.

Trumps become unhinged on the Twitter in the last hour.

That, like all his statements, during the campaign, meant nothing. Like issues. It was just talk, mostly vague. He was trying to make a sale. He didn’t. Kris Kobach stole the white house and the supreme court.

I dunno. He seems about as hinged as usual.
He is busy, though.

If the result is HRC wins, then I am sure members of the Obama administration would stay on to help a delayed transition.
