Well, as long as he is modeling the kind of maturity and statesmanship people need to see in response to provocations, here and especially overseas –
Never mind.
I’m going to repost this from another thread:
When I read the first story of trump raging against the recount this dawned on me: We all know he’s thinned skinned and I wonder if the secondary reason for the recount is to get him to blow up and add to the list of things that make him unfit to serve and if they push hard enough, he may not make it to January by way of exploding or imploding to such an extent that…well…we all finally agree he’s unfit to serve and a way is found to avoid that.
I’m really wondering if we keep pushing back he’ll do something crazy enough to end this nightmare. Please oh please.
Or maybe…he’s doing all this crazy shit to try and get out of it…it would be kind of funny (in a way) if he never wanted to be POTUS and Russia & the voter suppression et all got him there and he wants out. That would mean Putin played him and he got fucked. Thank you for allowing me that strange walk down weird lane but we are in uncharted waters here so anything is possible.
late edit: This is going to be a BIG distraction for him, especially if recounts happen in Michigan and Pennsylvania and at a time when he’s way behind getting his shit…er…cabinet and staff together. Good timing.
Hey Trumplethinskin, go jump off a bridge, you piece of crap. But grap Pence in your itty bitty hands before you do so.
At the very least this has ended up annoying him and in that regard it’s already successful
It’s worth a try. For my part, I assume he reads at least some of the Twitter noise he’s tagged in and make lots of little-hand comments…
What is Trump afraid of? He went on and on how the election was rigged. Maybe the recount will prove he was right all along.
I’d like to see a full blown Twitter attack on him, hit him where his strength is and drive him nuts. Hell, I’d even open an account if that would work.
Exactly!
You just know, his nuclear trigger code finger is getting itchy.

This is pure speculation, but I think that’s it. He’s notorious for accusing others of doing the things he’s done, and I think he was told (in what I suspect was a time-consuming and oblique way) that the Russians held the key to the election and he thought that meant they’d decided against him instead of it being them pointing out that they have him by the short and curlies. That would explain all the “it’s rigged!” crap he’d started spewing right before election day.
This is the same BS the Bush campaign used. HE CONCEDED. SHE CONCEDED. SCREW THE AMERICAN VOTER. I guess when they screamed the election was rigged they were bragging.
Why’s he blaming the Democrats?? Jill Stein is the Green Party.
I guess Donald of Orange doesn’t know the difference, eh ?
Can I just point out that in the discussion of who is qualified to be Secretary of State, Giuliani or Rmoney, the answer is: neither. What makes Rmoney more qualified, aside from not being a raging lunatic? That he worked on the Olympics? Ooh, how international.
Of course, if you’re the guy whose foreign policy experience consists of the Miss Universe pageant and marrying Eastern European women, Rmoney must look like a diplomat extraordinaire.
“This recount is just a way for Jill Stein, who received less than one percent of the vote overall and wasn’t even on the ballot in many states, to fill her coffers”
I find it interesting how this echos some of Josh’s reservations with regards to Jill Stein’s fund raising. It highlights to me how much damage there has been done on the progressive side. We should be able to afford her the benefit of the doubt, regardless of how you feel about her campaign (which I most certainly regarded as foolish).
Aaand…this is why so many of us fear for democracy and the rule of law under a Trump presidency. Because he and his people simply do not believe in any law greater than “whatever I can get away with.” We all know that if the electoral results had been exactly reversed, Trump and his ignoranti supporters would be crying foul and demanding recounts all over the place. But because he “won,” any attempt to challenge the results has to be an illegitimate “scam.”
Technically he’s not even the president-elect until the electoral college meets
The problem with him becoming unfit to serve – although that status has been pretty obvious all along – is that we get Pence who is far worse than Trump. I do not want to see a religious fanatic as Prez. He is far too close to that office as it is.
I really want to see the look on the faces of the 65+ crowd when he signs off on privatizing Medicare. AARP seems to be in the bag for Trump since they are not rallying their members to oppose changes to Medicare. I wonder if the heads at AARP understand what embracing Trump will cost them.
Stein’s reply was measured, rational and persuasive.
Check it out.
