Well, he already misstated in real time even what Del Cueto was saying. Del Cueto said that the illegal entrants with criminal records are not being sent back because the focus now is on the waiting list of legal immigrants waiting to become citizens so that they can get citizenship in time to vote. Trump changed that completely, saying illegal immigrants with criminal records are being given citizenship status so they can vote. So even his (possibly biased) source isn’t saying what Trump said.

I’m a little confused. The Article says Del Cueto is VP of the National Border Patrol Council. The website for that organization has a list of locals. The Arizona local of which he is president is #2544, but this page says it is a local of the American Federation of Government employees.

Nevertheless, if you need any more proof that we need to GOTV this November, this kind of xenophobia that Trump and his troglodytes have repeatedly gone back to the well to draw upon, is probably one of the biggest reasons. The man is fucking Un-American when it comes to immigration…except for the powerless immigrants that work for poverty wages on his buildings and properties, or the ones that come over as faux models from Eastern Europe and work like indentured servants to pay off their expenses.

Which is why we have undocumented immigrants. The owners of all the businesses who routinely employ undocumented workers love low wage workers who can be abused without fear of reprisal.
Throw a few executives in jail for hiring illegals and watch how fast they discover they joys of immigration reform.

Reality check: a friend who immigrated ten years ago wanted to take his citizenship test in time to register for the election. Others in his situation who took the test early in 2016 still don’t have citizenship. If anything, someone (Bush 5th column bureaucrat deplorables?) is clogging up the system.

You have to figure out how to make sure that companies also know they will be fined hundreds of millions of dollars for discriminating against not-obviously-citizens (ahem) in their hiring practices, or else they will take the much simpler way to avoid prosecution.

And that’s where I’d like to see more reporting here and elsewhere, because as Hillary ramps up her approach to November nationally, so is the Kochoctopus’ allied front groups in local markets, especially in red districts all across the country. I’ve already see my fair share of this happening. And Republican Governors are playing an even wilier and sinister game hoping a lot of people don’t notice. Many of these teabaggers and GOP Governors have failed in their own states on the economy and have blamed Obama (i.e. Brownback) but the facts should speak for themselves. Unfortunately the Democratic party as usual often falls down on the job when it comes to local races and combatting the lies. The social justice element needs to be better highlighted all across the country if they want to get young people out to vote. The Dems need to attack the bullshit and fund these down-ballot races a lot more imo. It always strikes me that its the same complaint I’ve had every election season it seems.
Edit to add: In Michigan Gov. Snyder has a commercial out for down-ballot races in the GOP where he touts his party’s accountability in government. I shit you not.
