But… Conspiracy!!! Rigged!!! Forget reality that it takes a lot of time and documentation to become a citizen - “They” are rushing them in - to be citizens in DAYS in order to be registered to VOTE!"

What is strange to me is that the border control union leader is claiming that “they” are doing this… isn’t “they” the officers in his union, that he represents? I guess anything to spin a good conspiracy, even if it mars the reputation of the people one represents.

I realize businesses are required to verify the citizenship or immigrant status of those they hire. And there are fines and sanctions for violations. But it’s a safe bet were all non-citizens that were unable to legally work here suddenly deported the U.S. crop harvesting/hospitality/resort/hotel/tourism/golf course industry would collapse within a month.

In Trump’s case, I think it is his way of rationalizing a defeat. He’s like a Scooby Doo villain - I would have won if not for the pesky immigrants and voter fraud!

Trump can’t accept that he could possibly lose, so therefore the only way he can lose is if the system is rigged against him. He’s pathological.

And the great thing is that for the usual subset of Trump supporters the claim that the election was rigged will justify random attacks on everyone who doesn’t look like them. From now until hell freezes over.

They haven’t gotten over the civil war, much less the past two elections.
