Discussion for article #238902

Less amusing, from the same poll: HRC 42%, Jeb! 43%

Dear Donald,

Don’t believe anybody who says you’re unelectable. Those people are all losers, because if they were winners, they would have as much brand value as you do. You obviously have better political instincts, because you have more money! You know you can do it, and so do billions of people all over the world! And if you get cheated out the your rightful place as the R nominee, go third party, because AMERICA NEEDS TRUMP NOW!!

Signed,
A Patriot.

k… getting pretty sick of these poll reports… it’s news when any reputable poll actually shows ANY Republican candidate beating a Dem…

Poindexter… please provide a link to the HRC poll… is that from the Human Rights Campaign? or is it a Republican poll of some sort?

Trump is great! He’s rich, lacks any and all nuance, and he hates Mexicans. He’s a rube’s wet dream.

At the end of the day though, I don’t see a Bush beating a Clinton in any universe.

He is the best candidate they have but largely it is pointless at the moment to get worked up about anything. To this point it has largely been on name recognition more than anything else. The polls do not start mattering until we get closer to the actual event itself.

I am sure that his various comments about the middle class and economy will be blasted far and wide if he were the candidate.

Carnival barker sez (actual quote from CNN this morning): Concerning immigration…
““Legal status,” Trump suggested. “We got to move 'em out, we’re going to move 'em back in if they’re really good people.””

That, CNN said was Trumps “most detailed explanation” to date concerning his immigration policy.
That’s detailed?

However, Trump also dominated the "no way " list, with 30 percent of
Republican voters saying they would never vote for Trump in the
presidential primary,

Of course they would, if he were the nominee.

They should try for a " My way or the Highway " list –

Quinnipiac never gives you full data on crosstabs…sign of a lousy poll…

I would think, for anyone still willing to admit to another person that they are Republicans, voting for theDonald would not be a bridge too far…

Some might resist, but their greed will win in the end.

This is New Hampshire. It’s Tennessee with maple syrup. But I can hear Reince Priebus screaming in his sleep from here, and it sounds SWEET!

I agree. Jeb Bush was a totally lackluster candidate from the beginning who made all sorts of unforced errors. Then Donald Trump entered the race and Mr Bush was ‘never heard from again’. Jeb Bush has so far only managed to prove that he is not as smart as everyone assumed and that he is lazy and unprepared. If he does manage to somehow crawl to the nomination he will be decimated by Hillary.
