Discussion: Trump DOJ Could Effectively Be Reviving A Long-Term Attack On Voting Rights

Leaving that question blank was also my first thought. If enough respondents did it, then there’d be a case to be made that the data from it was useless. I’m not sure what, besides civic duty and the persistence of the census takers, compels an individual to respond or respond to all its questions. I think you do somewhere affirm truthfulness of your answers, but don’t recall for sure.

Just not responding is a bad strategy bey ANYONE. Except, maybe, for your ® friends in the ® rich suburban and rural areas

Of course they are.
In the beginning, the slave owners and racist fucks just didn’t want black people having a say, let alone voting and they weren’t to keen on the all the ladies rights either.
Then progress came a knockin’ and they had to go with the subterfuge methods. Same desired ends through different means.
And then they lost some big battles and equality blossomed, next thing you know we have a half black President and an all black first family.

Good god said the christianists-this can’t be, so they quadrupled down and found their second wind. Racists United crawled from the rocks and caverns and declared racism dead as they raced to renew it. Voting Rights were revoked, bigotry was restoked and the Great White Beast from the East was elected and he brought his Keebler companion with him.

This is where we are but if past is prologue, we will reverse their reversals and with the common strength of humanity, we’ll send the wave of white fright back to from whence it came.

I have this dream!!

Smoking marijuana is more fun than drinking beer
But a friend of ours got captured
And they gave him thirty years.
Maybe we should raise our voices
Ask somebody why,
But demonstrations are a drag
And besides we’re much too high

And I’m sure it wouldn’t interest
Anybody outside of a small circle of friends

I may be wrong (I frequently am), but aren’t weed and heroin in the same category as far as drug enforcement and jail sentences that are handed down. That needs to be addressed. One’s a little giggle, the other leads to major crime.

Phil Ochs - deep cut my friend

I hope it’s occured to everyone that the title almost certainly comes from the half assed remarks PP made about North Korea. With that in mind, we can move to mocking him about buttons.

The Southern colonial states didn’t mind having their non-voting slaves to be counted for the purposes of Congressional representation (albeit as only 3/5 of a person). Can J. Beauregard Sessions, et.al. actually claim that non-citizens should be excluded from the Congressional representation count without any personal awareness of his hypocrisy?
