I don’t agree with his claim and comparison to the paper clip. If Trump really were that smart, he should be inventing useful stuff instead of doing real estate and politics.

I do agree that Donald Trump singlehandedly doomed John Bush the Acronym ÂżJeb?'s anointed ascent to the nomination.

Trump has a point here. Not only did everyone in the GOP say “Bush kept us safe,” you even had people like Giuliani claiming there were no terrorist attacks on U.S. soil during Bush’s two terms. While many Democrats made the point about Bush’s failure, Trump is the first GOP Presidential candidate to do so.
What the GOP doesn’t want to face is how the support for Trump reflects the contempt of many Republicans for their party as it is now constituted.

One of the highlights, along with that time Trump undermined Cruz’s New York Values attack, while standing right next to him, in a nationally televised debate - leaving Cruz looking like even more of a jackass than usual.
