It is really becoming apparent that the inability to apologize, admit flaws or failures is much bigger in this manâs psyche than I appreciated. Even if he felt he was unfairly impugned, he has not an ounce of contrition to him. There are no âI am sorry if I was misunderstoodâ moments at a minimum. Simply defend and attack.

For two-thirds of the US, Trump is a disaster and is making the country ungovernable. But there is still a group that supports him. I met such a guy last weekend. He thought Trump was an âexcellent businessmanâ whatever else you might say about him. Fucked a porn star, big deal. What guy doesnât want to do that? Alpha male life. Drilling deeper, I realized he had very little knowledge about Trumpâs checkered business history or his family history. It wasnât racism either in this case. He truly believed that Trump was good for business, good for the economy and good for funding the military (he worked as a contractor). Similarly, the shithole comment was spot on in his view. Corrupt countries are often shitholes, and based on Transparency Internationalâs rankings, quite corrupt.
