I wonder how long the ā€˜blame the mediaā€™ canard will work for him.

As long as there are people who still believe a word he says.

ā€œYou can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.ā€

Basically, Itā€™ll work with some sectors of the country all the time, but I think that itā€™s hitting the point where thatā€™s not going to work for a large portion of the population for much longer. Whatā€™s more, the media is starting to lash back at ā€˜45ā€™.

Trump is an extremely disturbed individual. The question is not whether he should be President, it is whether he should be confined to an institution where he cannot harm himself or others. Pass it on.

Donald Trump and his Nazi pal, the chronically disheveled Steve Bannon, are not media analysts, they are tyrants.

Democracy depends on a free and independent press, which is why all tyrants try to squelch it. They use seven techniques that, worryingly, President-elect Donald Trump already employs.

  1. Berate the media.
  2. Blacklist critical media.
  3. Turn the public against the media.
  4. Condemn satirical or critical comments.
  5. Threaten the media directly.
  6. Limit media access.
  7. Bypass the media and communicate with the public directly (ala Twitter).

There are over 40 different countries worldwide that are majority Muslim that are not affected by this order," the President said.

Including, coincidentally, all of those where Donald Trump does business and has conflicts of interest.

I am old enough to remember when then First Lady Hillary Clinton convened a Task Force composed of individuals from all affected sectors of the economy and patient and other interests to study and then propose a National Health Insurance Reform. The GOP began its Greek Chorus of derision for her which continues to this day. YET, Steve Bannon and Donald Trump pull Executive Orders out of their respective asses, without consulting the DOJ professionals, without consulting the DHS professionals whose staff would have to implement and enforce the EO, without consulting the fucking Airlines. And the GOP asshats like Jack Kingston go on TV and say, ā€œWell, you KNOW, we needed to really improve on the existing vetting ā€¦I mean it was like a sieveā€¦and it is JUST LIKE what Barack Obama didā€¦ā€

Because public administration is so much like the businesses of real estate, semi-scripted reality shows and licensing oneā€™s pumped-up last name (Trump) to hype everything from bad vodka to substandard steaks.

Right?
