He has the best low rating of any president ever! It’s all in your perspective.
For reference, Dubya didn’t hit 34% in the 3-day until April 28-30 2006.
So with a major hurricane bearing down on the Gulf coast today, it’s instructive to note that Bush never dropped below 40% until after Katrina, but after cratering down to 37% in mid-November 2005 Bush’s ratings recovered for a few months. So Trump’s already well below Bush’s post-Katrina low, pre-Harvey.
Trump Continues To Set New Records For Undesirably Low Approval Ratings
How low can he go? So much winning.
He never fooled all of the people even some of the time. He has fooled some of the people all of the time, but that number is low and going lower.
Well, if things keep trending down, instead of impeachment or the 25th, maybe we can snub him out of office. No fun being in the chair when every single person hates you.
That 34% approve of him is terrifying.
Ha! Donnie is the best at being the worst!
SO. MUCH. WINNING.
The Arpaio pardon should take several more points off instantly.
Will ultimately be known as the limbo president…“how low can he go”…?
This is a great time to call him the leader of the Republican Party. Obama did that years ago when Rush was mouthing off. Tie this mill stone to the whole lot of them. They created this monster. Own up, bitches!
It astonishes me that a chancre could be that popular, but then again, the underlying disease supports him.
Pretty soon he’ll be right down there with the Republican-controlled Congress.
Nobody likes a perpetual loser, especially Trump voters. Donald isn’t “winning” anywhere as much as he boasted. He isn’t winning anything except for the rich. Surprise. Surprise.
I don’t doubt he sees himself as the greatest president ever. Sad!
“skewed polls!” “fake news!”
" three million illegals" were polled!
“There’s no historical reason why his ratings couldn’t go up.”
Except for the fact that everything about him defies historical reason, so here’s hoping we see negative numbers.
34% approve, but some strongly approve.
These figures are effectively meaningless. Trump has the support of his base, including the vast majority of Republicans, and the Democtrats have nothing to offer but more of the same virtually nothing of the Obama years, which is lighting no one’s fire. Short of an economic collapse, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump gets his full term and the Republicans hold onto Congress.
Besides what you said, it looks like Sander is out to completely destroy the party. His representatives are trying to force Dems into open primary or caucus, by threat of denying results from closed primaries.
Sanders is the 2nd worst thing to happen to the US in the last two years, after Trump.
Sanders could damage the party enough so that Trump can win even with 30% approval.
