“…great people coming into [the] country…”

Sure, asshole - great people like Sebastian Gorka and Maria Buttina.

system of Immigration based on MERIT! We need great people coming into our Country!

Even better idea: Retain citizens based on MERIT! We need lousy people to leave our Country!

And the bargaining chip for Congress to “shutting down the government” is that no more judicial confirmations will be done, including the Supreme Court, until budgets are passed without a wall.

It is never good when he tweets over the course of 4+ hours.

Only plays to your die hards, dotard. The rest of the country is reading/watching real news/reporting on the horrible incompentence and cruelty on display as your admin passes the reunification deadline. Your tweets don’t change that.

Also - can you really be so stupid to use the word “willingness” (as intentional action) and “shut the government down” together to signal where to place the blame in the chaos of a shutdown?

Tick.tick.tick. - What you hear isn’t Mueller - it is your own insides ratcheting up - as if you are in the process of self-imploding. Or at-least self-imploding your administration.

We all can think of one in particular.

There are also consequences for people who conspire with hostile foreign governments to subvert the democratic processes of the United States. Your turn is coming.

Yes, people fleeing brutal criminals are running toward the beacon manned by a sadistic psychopath.

Trump commits crime.

There are also dire consequences for assholes who conspire with foreign powers against the U.S. May you incur maximum personal pain.

Thanks for bringing it up, moron. Yeah, go on and shut down the government over your inane WALL in September. Do it!

But, but it will be the DEM’S fault. Who, by the way, Russia want to win the mid-terms.

This oughta become the second article of impeachment (the first being his refusal to protect the United States from attack by a hostile foreign power on our free and fair elections): this policy to confiscate the children of people who make asylum claims that are EXPLICITLY protected by American law: “Any alien who is physically present in the United States or who arrives in the United States (whether or not at a designated port of arrival and including an alien who is brought to the United States after having been interdicted in international or United States waters), irrespective of such alien’s status, may apply for asylum in accordance with this section or, where applicable, section 1225(b) of this title…” (8 U.S. Code § 1158)

If illegally confiscating children from people who are making lawful claims isn’t a high crime and misdemeanor (like discussing with a hostile foreign dictator the ways and means of lying to the American people), what would be?

Also, the only people who will willing work in nursing homes, as home health aides, etc., are immigrants. So maybe all of those exceedingly healthy-looking Trump base voters will simply stroke out.

would be willing to “shut down” government if the Democrats do not give us the votes for Border Security, which includes the Wall!

Yes, shut down the REPUBLICAN gov’t. before midterms.

No, you don’t need Dems to give you votes for BS; you run Congress, go get them among Rethugs sc*mbag.

Please tell me somebody is challenging family separations on the grounds that it violates the constitutional prohibition on punishments that are “cruel and unusual.” If it wasn’t clear before, this latest tweet makes it explicit that the justification for Trump’s Kiddie Koncentration Kamps is to punish undesirable immigrants.

Even forgetting for a moment the obvious racism, I would be very surprised if there is anyone who doesn’t think that “traumatizing your children by taking them away from you and locking them up in a child prison where they are forcibly drugged” is pretty much unprecedented in recorded history as a punishment, and extremely cruel.

You violated 8 USC 123, which is punishable by imprisonment of up to 30 days in prison, dismissal of any asylum claims with prejudice, abduction of your children, and a fine of $5,000 plus postage for mailing your children to and from New York.

Trump is threatening to kidnap children for –
–a request for asylum
–a first attempt at illegal entry (misdemeanor)
–a subsequent attempt at illegal entry (low-level felony)

Yes, there are consequences. The proper consequence is determined through DUE PROCESS.

Kidnapping children, by contrast, is a serious felony. There are consequences for that, too.
Haul his ass into court and let him experience due process up close and personal.
