I hope so, but I dunno. The legislative branch is occupied by meatheads, the president being chief meathead. Congressional republicans have so far been meathead-positive, though this is a signal that some of them may be reconsiering their commitment to the meathead concept.

Meatheads value brute force most of all, at the expense of all else – particularly intellect. So while I hope (and think) you’re correct, I wouldn’t be surprised to be in this position again come Valentines Day. Be mine.
