Question: Why does Trump think all the people who died and all the people who were injured were Christians?

While I’m sure some of them were Christian, I’d assume a lot were also agnostic, atheist, or “spiritual but not religious”. since this Europe, where religious affiliation gone down quite a lot over the past several decades.

So does Trump think the victims were all Christian? Or does Trump only condemn the slaughter of Christians because he thinks the non-Christian victims deserved it? Or because he thinks that’s what his base thinks?

There is a psychological effect in the whole country of the choice of words here, and we want to be very, very cautious and operate close to the actual investigation results, not with speculation.

At least the German leadership have the sense not to frame this as a war of civilizations.

I can assure you many of those killed weren’t practicing Christians. In Germany Atheism/Agnosticism is mainstream and only 60% of Germans belong to a Christian church.

Last week his “unpresidented” Tweet described the drone incident in the present tense: “China ‘rips’ it out of the water . . . .”
