Not knowing Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the United States (and that Puerto Ricans are US Citizens with most of the same rights and privileges of Santorum) ā thatās just par for a box-stock GOP idiot like Santorum.

The point is a simple minded person like Trump probably thought he was telling the truth for once. He just lacks the capacity to understand that numbers are often revised upward when all is said and done. He lacks intellectual curiosity.

When a hurricane arrives near an election, a REAL president puts on his fleece and coordinates relief efforts with governors of both parties. Never mentions the election in his statements, or uses the moment to grandstand or campaign.
Or deny death tolls.

Trump admits that two hurricanes made a direct hit on PR but we were told by this administration that only 6 to 18 died. But then they issue burial permits for at least 2000. Donald wants us to believe that heās the Messiah and raided them from the dead?
Maybe he can host the reality show of the next Walking Dead spinoff once he gets out of prisonā¦in a decade or two. Or perhaps he will be a Dead Man Walking by then?

I am glad my Dad is not alive to hear Santorum and witness Trumpās abandonment of Puerto Rico, followed by his ridiculous, shameless claims that he deserves fucking hosannas and praises for the nothing he did and the fucks he did not give while Puerto Ricans were languishing and dying. He would have been especially amused to inform Santorum that thousands of PR US citizens fought and died in WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq, and thousands more continue to serve and defend the US.

So you think he really supposes it to be the truth that this is a Democratic plot to make him look bad and that they just counted all dead people as due to the hurricane? Simple lack of curiosity led him to those honest conclusions? If you want to believe that, fine. Iām just not clear whatās to be gained here in bending over backwards to be āfairā in this way.
