Typical : “It’s all untrue – trust us.” But, once again, no proof to the contrary, and the usual attempt to deflect to Clinton.
It’s all so, um, Nixonian, isn’t it?
(Keep digging, Mr Fahrenthold…)
Don’t you dare look at this train wreck we’ve caused! Look! I’ve got shiny glitter in my hand! Look at the shiny glitter!
Trump just changes the subject.
His legal problems keep mounting, regardless.
Meanwhile, the New York Times’ big lede today is on air pressure in footballs. Way to keep up with the WaPo, TPM and NYMag in your coverage of the election, NYT. Let’s hear about that football air.
Predictable guff from the Trump camp–just lying about Clinton Foundation and lying about the Trump Foundation. I hope that someone in the press has the balls to to challenge them–but I’m not holding my breath. This huge story barely gets a mention in the Times, presumably because it’s a rival’s scoop. It was the same with the Snowden revelations, which it ignored because it wasn’t their story. Pathetic. Meanwhile the Times lead is a false equivalence nonstory about how both Trump and Clinton can’t prevent the rise of domestic terrorism.
If Trump accuses anyone of doing anything, immediately start an investigation into Trump doing it. He has a major projection complex.
And Trump again reaches into his con man’s toolbox - misdirection, distraction, lies, ignore what is actually being said to/about you, and never address the reality of the situation.
Only $258,000? If it happened once for $100,000 and another time for $158,000, surely those aren’t the only cases.
Perhaps the desperate lashing out is because further scrutiny will reveal multiple instances of self-dealing which were not reported to the IRS.
After all, this sum already leaves out the improper payment to Bondi.
Tip of the iceberg.
IRS has got to be listening.
I’m waiting for his donors to start suing him for fraud. Wonder if there’s enough to do a class action.
Wonder if one of those ambulance chaser law firms that advertise on TV did a commercial seeking Trump victims would it count as a contribution to Clinton?
Please let there be a slew of donors in Florida who can petition Bondi to take action.
Trump: The only foundation that matters is The Clinton Foundation. Whatever they do is completely illegal.
Trump lashes out…it is his entire campaign strategy beyond lying…you would think the stooges supporting him might catch on by the hundredth time it happens…
The Trump Foundation has no paid board, no management fees, no rent or overhead, and no family members on its payroll," Trump spokesman Jason Miller said in a statement.
That’s because its Donald Trump’s personal slush fund to pay off his settlements from all the bluster of threats to sue people and used to buy gaudy shit no one would want but him. Speaking of the IRS…we have no way of knowing what he reports to the IRS because he won’t release his taxes. That’s the only way he can prove he isn’t lying ergo the reason he won’t be releasing those tax returns, not now, not ever.
And he never, ever, ever will. I’ll bet he’d walk away from all of this rather than release those returns.
Unless there is enough pressure to make it so hot for him not to. But I don’t see that happening.
I am hoping Farenthold turns up something good, which will derail the whole Trump Circus Train.
You gotta admit, it takes some guts to claim you have no motive to let somebody else pick up your check.
TrumptheTroll having his usual Tantrump .
As a commentator on MJ pointed out: Several investigations into the Clinton Foundation, result nothing found; 1st investigation into the Trump Foundation, several direct hits.
IRS has got to be listening. Maybe, maybe not. I think the head of the IRS is leery of pissing of the Republicans who are currently trying to impeach him.
