Discussion: Trump Bear-Hugs $1.3 Trillion Omnibus As Conservatives Threaten To Revolt

Paul Ryan: My hands are tied - and the ball gag ain’t helpin’, either!

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said GOP leadership broke their promise to keep the two policies linked together, as the omnibus only includes the former and not the later.

Really??? The Turtle and aRyan weren’t good for their word? You don’t say! You should censure those mutherfuckers, post-haste!

Rimshot, please!

Like everyone else here, I want to see the Dems take over at least the House in November, if we can’t capture both, although if Trump goes on the campaign trail for GOP candidates our chances shoot up enormously.
But there is one side benefit of a Democratic House that I truly look forward to: seeing the Freedom Caucus members holding their breath until they turn blue, thinking that is the way they can get what they want from a Democratic Party-controlled House. I want to mop up the bitter salted tears of Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan and the rest of these stupid, un-American motherfuckers.

My favorite line in this story was the guy bemoaning the money allotted to the wall: at this rate it will take 15 years to build it. To the best of his knowledge, this president won’t be in office in 15 years.
Aside from my hopes of 15 more minutes, it seems to me that if the wall is worthwhile, other presidents will also support it.
Just saying.

What demoralizes me the most is the slow roll destruction of the ACA despite all of the town halls and the overwhelming evidence that the majority do not want this. The same goes for destroying consumer protection, the environment, casting DACA enrollees into limbo and the complete inability to move forward on common sense gun control. The only solace in this POS is that it doesn’t openly fund white nationalism or defund Social Security. Or maybe I just missed it - it is over 2000 pages long, after all.

I’ve always thought so.

The key to coping is to train yourself unable to be demoralized. Go through every day reminding yourself somewhere in the world innocents are being slaughtered, children are being raped and puppies are being sold for stew meat.

After awhile nothing much can outrage you.

Donald Trump is unfit to be the president of the United States.

“There is really no wall funding,” Meadows lamented. “If we’re going to build a $25 billion wall at $1.6 billion a year, that means funding it over a 15 year period. To my knowledge, this President won’t be in office in 15 years.”

All sane Americans hope Trump will be in his 14th year of a prison sentence or dead by then.

They certainly are.

The ACA has to just survive for now. Democrats can’t do any more until they control the US government, which many hope occurs in January, 2021.

Well donors like to be paid back upfront and not 15 years down the road.

What a joke. I’m sure though that there will be Dems to push them over the line just to get ‘a few things’. STOP IT.

There’s no joy in Mudville,” House Freedom Caucus Chair Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) complained Wednesday afternoon. “The wins for conservatives will be few and far between.”

Gee, he is going to be really depressed come the the day after the NOV elections. lol
Breaka my heart.
