Discussion: Trump Backs Away From US-Russia 'Cyber Security Unit' He Floated

Criminelly, is this guy clueless. Did he really think anyone would fall for this?? Or desire it (other than Pootie, of course, who would share nothing and take everything)…

Well, gosh, who wouldn’t think setting the fox to guard our hen house would be a good idea?

I think it’s simpler to just run everything by Putin: if he says yes-da, if he says no-nyet.

Damn, and I was ready to order my MASA hat (Make America Secure Again).

Does this asshole actually believe that he “negotiated” a “ceasefire” with Putin on cyber warfare against us, and visa versa? If so, he’s even stupider and more gullible than I imagined (and that’s saying something!) The mind boggles at the idea this corrupt and criminal FOOL is President of the United States.

Throw a lot of stuff out there. If it looks like it works, even for a day when it’s something that needs to work mid- to long-term (ceasefire in Syria) take credit for it. If it doesn’t work (China helping with N. Korea), “It didn’t work, but we had to try.” If it’s a crazy idea that gets nothing but criticism (U.S. - Russia cyber-security unit, ACA repeal/replace and most every idea out of this so-called administration), “Of course, I didn’t mean it. I will have something greater soon.” Leadership! Winning!

I thought he was boasting about ceasefire in Syria-same point, though.

Never send an grotesque idiot to do the job of a qualified President.

Seems to me The Donald had a Freudian slip. What he tweeted was “forming an impenetrable Cyber Security unit” that will guard “election hacking, & many other negative things.”

Putin is pulling his chain. “Let’s work together to secure voting”.

Donald’s penchant for not honouring a verbal agreement is well-known, so I doubt Putin is surprised…

So does he make all this shit up on his own or is someone on his staff helping or overseeing his tweets? They seem dumb enough to be his own words and thoughts, but sometimes he just seems even too dumb and unknowledgeable for even these.

Let us recall that Benedict Arnold’s plan was to surrender West Point to the British.

"I went to the G20 and no one paid any attention to me. So, when we were flying home, I decided I would show everyone what a Statesman I really am, and decided to put all of the bad stuff people were saying about Putin and me behind us and decided that together, and it would have been fabulous, to end Cyber hacks everywhere in the world.

So, I sent out that message and my so called good friends such as Lindsay Graham and John McCain, well, they just don’t understand how important this is. Vlad is a truthful guy and he promised me it would be a good thing. And besides, he let me tell the world because he knew it was important to me. It was nice of him to let me do it. So, I try to show I can bring peace to the world and this is what I get.

It was great being in Poland, where they just love me - did you hear them shouting my name? It was fabulous how much they respect me as a world leader. We are making America Great Again! Wasn’t Ivanka great at the meeting? They paid attention to her, too. Her dress was fabulous.

Cyber hacks, well, you don’t know where they come from and the main stream media knows that and won’t report the truth, but at least the “Fake News” paid attention to me for most of Saturday. SAD."

Trump abased himself to a two bit authoritarian pig in charge of a country that has a smaller GDP than California, not even half as big as Italy’s. Even if all this tells me is that Trump would really like to be Putin, the response is that Trump couldn’t match Putin if his life depended on it. He is a blunderbuss with a man crush and delusions of competence.
