Hey, Trump, letâs just ignore the topic of the criticism (shithole countries comment and racism itself) and also just assume that Jay-Zâs criticism was made because heâs black (spoiler alert, white people think the comment was wrong and way-out-of-line racist), and therefore respond in a racist way and talk about black unemployment rates, which have nothing to do with your shithole countries comments or any of your policies or programs (and which unemployment rate was going down long before Trump came along, and are overshadowed by his other racist policies and rhetoric).
ETA: One of the better comments that Jay-Z made in the interview was in this exchange - as reported in Vox:
Van Jones on Saturday noted that, whatever the cause, unemployment among black Americans is lower under Trump, to which Jay-Z responded that, frankly, given consistent evidence of Trumpâs racism, it doesnât really matter. âItâs not about money at the end of the day. Money is not, money doesnât equate to happiness. It doesnât,â he said. âThatâs missing the whole point. You treat people like human beings, then, thatâs the main point.â
The correlation implied in Trumpâs tweet is very much in keeping with that which weâre supposed to infer when someone says, âIâm not a racist; why, some of my best friends . . . .â
Of course, the person most in need of understanding this is the one person who wonât be reading this . . . or who lacks someone with the integrity to tell him.
Just goes to show there are statistics. There can be lying through statistics. Trump, who seems incapable of understanding statistics just lies out right - regardless of statistics.

And so Trump doing this is OK?

The problem now, he continued, is that by not actually taking care of the problem, itâs gotten worse and worse and now thereâs this âsuperbugâ that needs to be dealt with.
Itâs not clear from this quote, but the âproblemâ J-Z is talking about is racism, and the âsuperbugâ is Trump.
Under President Obama, unemployment statistics were fake, donât believe them.
Meanwhile, under President Obama, unemployment among African-Americans trended down annually. So now that it has continued to decline, that excuses Trumpâs racist comments.
Okay, I get it.
