Eh, I don’t know about that. People will die as a result of this if the full law were tossed, and more risk losing literally everything if the rug is pulled from underneath their health care/insurance. Some of those people, and maybe even a majority of them didn’t vote for Trump. They don’t deserve this. And even the people who did vote for Trump still have people who depend on them who may have had no say in the election.
If this were to only affect Trump’s base, I’d be a little less sympathetic - but unfortunately things don’t work that way. If the ACA gets the axe, a lot of decent people are going to get thoroughly screwed.
Trump and the Republicans have a political death wish. Fortunately for the nation.
Relax. If it had been killed by Roberts shortly after its birth, yeah, we’d have a problem.
But the entire insurance industry, and by extension the medical industry, have built their businesses up around this now to a massive extent (BTW, they may have grumbled about it before it happened, but they really like having lots more customers paying them…).
If it gets overturned, you will see a massive uproar from basically the entire medical community to fix it.
