Why do they even bother talking to Manafort anymore ? Why not ignore him ?

I really wish there was time for everything that the Trump Campaign is doing to get widely reported…like their desire to get a law passed allowing Trump to fire Federal employees without cause or the fact that his business staffers are apparently being used, illegally, to bolster his campaign staff.
You know what would really be a news worthy headline. One that declared Trump or someone from his “campaign” told the truth.
“How about the Magic 8 Ball? It’s far more reliable than any of our other staffers.”
More proof Trump wouldn’t adhere to our agreements and obligations based upon his arbitrary dictates – and that’s just not how this nation fulfills its obligations. When we make strategic alliance treaties, we better be darn sure we keep our word. Donald believes he can run the nation just like he runs his businesses – by threatening people and withholding our full faith and credit. Donald would bankrupt this nation, morally, financially and of the good will and trust we have around the world.
Color me shocked.
Oh, I forgot to add that Trump’s people asked Kasich if he wanted to be the most powerful VP in history since, apparently, Trump doesn’t actually want to act as President and wants to hand all his power over to the VP…which is apparently flat out illegal, but still…
How long before Manafort just decides…this gig is just not worth it? He has been taken out at the knees every single day of this convention…by his own boss.
Facts? Trumpets don’t do facts.

This kind of reminds me of those fire stations down South…if you don’t pay the taxes that the town demands (even if you can’t/don’t use most of the services) if your house catches fire they won’t help you…even if you pay for that help later. Trump and his ‘policy’ is even worse than Isolationism.

Trying to take a break from TPM for a bit, but Trump’s real problem here is shooting from the hip without much prior knowledge. His stance is having repurcussions in the U.K. where the future of their trident submarine based nuclear arsenal is under discussion. Some, like Jeremy Corbyn want to get rid of it and the expense. But as you can see from the Telegraph (tory leaning) opinion piece, Trump’s views (blitherings) have given impetus to the “keep U.K. Nuclear deterrence” camp. Some interesting history on the rise of NATO here too. Back to break now.
It’s standard procedure for an unscrupulous landlord shaking down a tenant; why spend money to fix that broken sink if you can intimidate the tenant instead? What are the odds Donald learned this from his father? Amazing.

Americans need to remind conservatives about Trump’s contradictions at every turn. We are all going to die sooner or later. I’d rather be on my feet.
