The number of rich Republican elites who’ve managed to out themselves as rapey assholes who are suddenly petrified that sexual assaults they long since thought they’d gotten away with could come back to haunt them is astonishing.
If anyone has had the stomach to watch, Erick Erickson has particularly distinguished himself by the nearly audible high pitched note of borderline hysterical fear.
I wonder what might be the best way to convince @RepKevinCramer that a rape that stops short of penetration is still terrifying violent assault? 
I’m thinking Erick son of Erick might has just learned that, in many states, there is NO statute of limitation on rape.

I want to thank Cramer for making Heitkamp’s decision the easiest ever to the point where it will deliver her the margin of victory over him. The Democrats are going to hold all their incumbent seats and win 4 GOP held seats (NV/AZ/TN/TX).
Rep. Cramer is (partially) right! It does seem to be very hard (for Republicans) to get non-harassing, non-assaulting, non-raping, non-pedophile candidates these days.

It does seem to be a widespread belief among Republicans that it is unreasonable not to expect teenage boys to at least TRY to assault the young women around them.

It’s truly incredible how confident Republicans are that their side is ALWAYS innocent and the other side is ALWAYS guilty, and that the only purpose of an investigation is to prove that Democrats are guilty of whatever Hannity says they did. Trump could shoot each of their mothers on live TV and they’d just find a way of blaming Crooked Hillary while insisting that Trump couldn’t have done it because he said he didn’t and there aren’t any witnesses who aren’t biased against him.
Sadly, if I had a nickle for every comment posted today insisting that Kavanaugh must be innocent because he says he’s innocent and his victim must be lying because you can’t be a witness to your own rape; I’d be a rich man.

EDIT- Listen to the video. Charles Blow is a man still living with this act as if it happened yesterday. The next time someone opens their mouth the criticize a victim of an assault, they should be made to watch this.
I think what most astonishes me is that these clowns are so busy throwing red meat to their base, they seem to forget that everyone else is listening, too.
