Yeah I hate to say it but this brings up the fact that high school athletes have been sexually abusing new recruits as hazing. It has happened in the football departments of several high schools in New Mexico and at least one I know of in Texas.
Yeah - it’s only high school - nothing bad ever happens in high school.

This case is even more absurd because these people were teenagers when this supposed, alleged incident took place. Teenagers.
It’s not rape if the people involved are underage.

These are teenagers who evidently were drunk according to her own, her own statements. They were drunk when it evidently happened… even by her own accusation.
It’s not rape unless everyone is sober.

It’s not rape unless it succeeds. It’s not illegal to attempt an illegal act, only to accomplish it.
