Get ready to MakeAmericaGreatAgain!
What a lineup of losers. Whoâd ever want any one of those clowns to be a family member?
Really looking forward to the season premiere of the RepubliKlown Komedy Hour. Fox has come up with a great cast of promising newcomers and returning favorites.
They will make us forget about such past icons as Bachmann and Cain. If only they had lured Sarah Palin into the actâŚ
The Addamsâ or the Munsterâs??
âB-b-but that canât be!â Bobby Jindal sobbed. âHow could I not get selected for the main Fox debate? I cut health care for hundreds of thousands of women in Louisiana by defunding Planned Parenthood!â
The tears flowed freely down his face: âThey chose John Kasich over ME?!?! Kasichâs a wimp! He expanded Obamacare, for Godâs sake! Damn, damn, damn it, I should have screwed women and the poor sooner and louder.â
Everyone knows Kasich is on par statistically with some other Yayhoo that didnât make the cutâŚbut whateverâŚIt was all so fucking predictable anyway. So which polls did they use? Something tells me Nate Silver will soon be able to tell Faux theyâre all full of shit in their calculations, and in how they arrived at their choices. I believe Kasich is in because heâs an establishment candidate, and because if Jeb! flames out, which heâs got a 50/50 chance of doingâŚKasich will be their back-up plan.
Are there any polls that show these candidates as the top 10?
This will not be a happy Mardi Gras for poor Booby Jindal.
Doesnât matter. Faux got the candidates they wanted. End of story. There was never really a process in place. They just had to frame it that way. It was always at their discretion. And if they ever tell anyone which polls they relied on, the cat will be out of the bagâŚcause it just wonât add up definitively.
Why do I get the feeling that they based it on the pics for American Idol. Would explain how Fox also came up with the idea of having just ten candidates on the stage.
So does this mean there will be a talent part of the competition ?
I feel for Rick Perry
I donât think thatâs the case. This is what various right wing, middle of the road, and progressive websites have been predicting for days. TPM said as much this morning. The fact that Perry isnât complaining makes me think this is in line with his internal polling.
Mentioned this elsewhere on the site, but it bears repeating, I think:
The arena the RNC will be borrowing for tonightâs debates (and the RNC convention too) is named Quicken Loans Arena.
How symbolic is it that the GOP - a party that runs up Americaâs debt and fights for the rights of the 1% to rip off its employees - is holding its first debate, and presidential convention at an arena named after a loan brokerage that doesnât pay its employees overtime?
TPMâs own average of polls found these candidates to be the top ten of the last five available polls, which was the basis for these picks.
I heard Sanjaya narrowly missed being among the 10 debaters.
Yeah, its probably time to lose the glasses. Perry and his glasses didnât make the cut. All for naught. Now he can go back to just being plain vanilla-wrapped Texass bullshit.
Wannabe Cowboys donât wear glasses anyways, do they?
I Just hope that Piyush finally understand that he will never be president, no matter how hard he sodomizes the people of LA and stop doing it.
In watching the Maddow show however, it was shown that the margin of error was so close as to be negligible in deriving which candidate would/should/could be able to go ahead of another for the last two slots. That would matter if this process was actually an above the board processâŚbut it isnât. Its a totally contrived process from the start imo. Like I said, I believe it was a done deal before they ever announced how they would determine âthe playersâ.
Rick Perry: âNOOOOOOOOOOO! âŚI VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!â
