He’s fully capable of attacking Lincoln and st. ronnie.
He’s a snarling, rabid POS and his base loves it.
It’s not just people of color, but certainly they are a favorite target.

No shit. But also, something that Omar appears to be clueless to. She is a wonderful foil for Trump, and she keeps stepping in it. Like it or not, the reality is that she is a target, and making stupid comments about jews buying politicians with “benjamins” and now this comment, shows an in ability to be a good advocate for the communities that she was elected to represent.

Good comment by Toobin. NYT came right to the doorstep of calling him a racist today. Need to get the media push further and call him what he is.
As for Omar, she should know that her party got her back and has gone out of its way to create a place for her. Chairman Nadler, a Jewish MoC, delivered perhaps the best attack on Trump in defense of her. I hope she will respect what members are doing and stay out of debates on the Middle East or the treatment of Muslims unless those matters come up in the committees she is on. The extra curricular stuff has to go. This isn’t about ‘silencing’ a far lefty as they often claim (lookin’ at you Rashida Tlaib). This is about how to win the game of politics and how to be politically smart.
I am going to be very interested in how lardass campaigns in 2020. He cannot be out in the open or in the usual venue. Airplane hangars with the military protecting his fat ass are not evenly distributed across the country. He cannot visit any major city except perhaps Birmingham, AL. I guess we will just get blasted with TV ads. All the more reason to cut the cord.
I assume he’ll have rallies in red state towns where he’ll yell; insult women, minorities, immigrants, LGBT people, the disabled; and lie a lot.
It is fascinating that Trump seems to believe that his base alone is enough to win re-election.
