Discussion: Toobin On Omar: 'Not A Coincidence' That Trump Always Attacks 'People Of Color'

Guaranteed - If something tragic happens to Omar - the White House already has multiple scripts ready to roll - all basically saying she brought this upon herself and fully deserves it … and the Trumpass-kissers will shout “YES”

by Trump repeatedly going back to poke at this - It is as though he is exploring whether he can incite a horrific action - what other reason would explain poring gallons of gasoline on an already volatile flaming situation? He wants to see if he can get somebody killed.

The president of the United States is a raging bigot and a racist.

Well, duh! Who could have guessed? And Christians and the GOP are SO proud of him saying out loud what they all secretly believe.

Run for office. Get elected. Bring back honor and good faith and decency to our country.

I think he should be referred to as President Lardass by the Democratic candidate, whoever that may turn out to be.

HOW he can ‘judge’ anybody’s looks when he has THAT ass.

Yes, he is a bully and that is exactly what bullies do, attack those they believe have no power. What bothers me more than tRUmp’s attack is that all Democrats did not immediately condemn. Seems it took shaming of leadership before anyone stepped forward. And still most have said crickets.

$100 bills are called “Benjamins” because Benjamin Franklin is on the face of each and every bill.

It has nothing at all to do with Jews—a proper noun which you refused to capitalize.

Get a grip, Missy.

I watched the video. Look, when you are arguing that the phrase in question “some people did something” (which my guess is sounds odd if not upsetting to a majority of americans) was said, but must be viewed on context, you have lost. Notice that Pelosi is wisely not defending the comment, but rather defending (or making an issue of) the threats and overreach by Trump.

Had some random republican or even conservative democrat made the statement she made it would not be an issue. But the point that everyone is not seeming to grasp is that when Trump is talking about some “muslim” woman, from Detroit, wearing a headscarves, who is talking about the largest terrorist attack on the US, in which nearly 3000 people died, all killed by Radical Islamic Terrorists, and she refers to this as “some people did something” - when she knows she has already been a target for what she has said (and who she is) then she is a fucking fool. Lets be real, White People should be (or have to be) careful about how they describe issues in the Affrican-American Community. Men have to be careful out describing the experience of women. And Omar has to be careful about how she describes Jews let along an attack by 21 (mostly Saudi) arab/islamic (pick your term) terrorists who killed 3,000 Americans. This is not exactly rocket science to see the political peril.

Trump is trying to make Omar the face of the Democratic Party. If you think Omar being the face of the Democratic Party is likely to win in 2020, I beg to differ.

This is her what 4th major controversy? All tied in to what FOX news is saying is an “anti-american, and anti-jewish world view.”

… an interesting perspective:
