Trump Jr.'s story that Veselnitskaya provided no useful information is hard to swallow to say the least.
The initial email from Goldstone specifically states the information is coming from Aras Agalarov, a Russian real estate billionaire with close ties to Trump, including plans to build Trump Tower Moscow, which Agalarov states was put on ice for now due to Trumpās election. Hard to imagine Agalarov went through all this trouble to feed the Trump campaign vague and useless stuff, as Jr. rather ridiculously claimed. Details about hacked DNC emails relating to Clinton, however, that would be interesting to the Trump campaign Iām sure.
The fun part here is Manafort really only needed to read as far as the subject line. āRussia - Clintonā¦ā Iām sure Manafortās interest would have ended there. Couldnāt possibly be anything worth reading in an email with that subject line, right?
