Discussion: Tillerson After N. Korea Missile Test: U.S. ‘Has Spoken Enough About North Korea’

So this is what Deconstructing State looks like. Go back to sleep Rex!

OMG! American diplomacy has sunk to the level of a tweet. Where are the policy papers? Policy discussions? Press conferences or at least briefings that detail thoughts beyond 140 characters? Hello, Anyone home? God help us!

U.S. has spoken enough. It is time for Putin’s canary to start tweeting something really stupid.
I suspect a nuclear war between U.S. and China would bring a smile to the Russians. And that is just what they will get if the Presid*nt decides he needs a real distraction from his investigation.

How long has this crooked Texas oil jerk been on the job? Has stupid Rex and illegitimate Donnie even located Syria on a map?

What complete clowns. Trump and his band of incompetent idiots are going to start WW III and the US is going to suffer the greatest losses as the whole world (even Putin will seize the chance to help destroy us) turns against the Authoritarian regime of Trump, Pence, and Bannon.

The North Korean missile test was reminiscent of a similar test in February, as Japanese President Shinzō Abe visited Mar-a-Lago.

Pssst! Hey, Rex. Tell your boss the North Koreans are fuckin’ with him, and the best thing he, and you, can do is to ignore them. It’ll drive them nuts. Go ahead, try it.

Incomplete context.

The WH issued this statement first “The clock has now run out and all options are on the table”

Minutes later, NK launched this missile.

Later in the evening, Tillerson issued his non-statement.

The WH was trying their bully bluster move. North Korea, unimpressed with their threat, rattled their own saber in return. Tillerson then tried to walk away from the whole thing.

Putting aside that horrible…weak…optic, my own personal guess is what this really does is expose just how far out of the loop Tillerson is. He probably had no idea the WH issued that first statement. After all, how could he? Kushner is in Iraq, so he couldn’t have a meeting.

Tillerson’s job is NOT to run diplomacy for the United States. Its merely to try and go around partially cleaning up the messes the Administration makes, after the fact. And that, is an incredibly dangerous path for our country. Because no country in the world can look to State for anything reliable…every ambassador is now immediately discounted. This one change is perhaps the biggest loss of power the United States has ever suffered…and its completely voluntary.

Hey Rex:

What would you do IF you were North Korea?

…and you witnessed what the US did to Saddam Hussein and Iraq!

Iraq didn’t have nukes to deter the US from illegally invading their sovereign land! There is no way the US would have invaded Iraq if they had nukes and missile capabilities…and N Korea isn’t about to repeat Saddam’s errors now are they.

Has the US ever offered publicly to agree to sign a treaty to not invade or bomb NKorea if they dismantle their nukes? Has the US ever put our 60,000 troups on a withdrawal plan IF N Korea dismantles and allows monitoring?

With lying scum bag Trump in the White House…can N Koerea or anyone else even trust any treaty that the US has signed and ratified in congress. We even have a track record of ignoring and violating the Geneva Conventon under Cheney-Bush.

Is N Korea the bad guy…or is the US really the bad guy in all of this?

Truly this guy is not up for the job. Tillerson seems to have a very limited portfolio with one objective he’s been tasked to cover…Too bad for everyone, N. Korea didn’t make the list…and they don’t serve borscht.

Maybe Jared can add this to his ever expanding responsibilities by King Man-child the First. Jared is the prince after all.

Kim Jong Un and Jared are about the same age (three years difference). Maybe invite Dennis Rodman to some kind of summit and hash this whole bombing other countries thing some. Maybe there will even be time for a game of horse when they’re done. Ya never know.

I think its time to face facts…the Department of State is no longer firing or operating on all cylinders.

Scariest part is that after looking at the likes of Tillerson, this may actually be true.
