Nothing they can do to prevent the House from impeaching.
Grayson is too much of a narcissist, and the Republicans already have seven of them on the committee. Adding in another with Grayson would end up hurting Democrats, and fueling into the “both parties are crap” meme.
Pelosi did an excellent job in selecting COMPETENT Democrats, that is what will make all the difference. All five of these Democrats are competent and smart. Grayson is too much of a self serving clown, and he would be ineffective. It was his clown tactics that caused him to lose his seat in 2010.

You must be describing the republican makeup of the panel because these are five highly competent reps who will represent the best interests of the American people and Democratic Party and bring some honesty to the kangaroo court.

Nice to see someone else here understand that COMPETENCE is more important. Too many progressives are being negative reactionaries because they didn’t get their way.
FFS, we get the RANKING member of Oversight on the committee who Asshole Issa cut the mic on and was lauded for in speaking even with his mic cut off, yet folks are whining that their fee fees are hurt because Grayson was rejected, GET OVER IT!!!

Mark my words here and now. The House will impeach Obama over Benghazi regardless of the outcome of this committee investigation. They have already made up their minds.

Much as I would have liked the Dems to flip GOP the bird, Pelosi is doing the right thing. The Dems need to be there to cry foul at every turn and to shield the subpoenaed witnesses from abuse by the majority to the extent possible. They can also issue a minority report at the end. Kind of hard to do that if you weren’t in the corral for the whole rodeo. Pelosi has appointed Dems who served on the other Benghazi panels so they will be quick to expose BS when they hear it. It is what it is.

This isn’t even about impeaching Obama, it’s about tarnishing Hillary enough to make it a race between her and whichever dunce they put up.
