Discussion: The Sandy Hook Hoax Case Against Alex Jones Turns Even Uglier

Ah, another chance for Jones to learn that words have consequences…I don’t believe that he was involved (and apparently neither does anyone else), but that is no excuse for his reaction. He built the cesspool, he’s been perfectly happy to threaten and make people miserable, so it serves him right to get caught up in this. Hopefully this is going to destroy him enough that he’ll be gone soon.

Very calm (and stable)!

When you live in an outhouse, you will get covered with sh*t.

Looks like Jones may be graduating from the status of a civil defendant to that of a criminal defendant. Threatening an officer of the court? Not very smart Alex.

I can’t even begin to sympathize with anything connected to him.

Well, this should be another boring and uneventful week…

Then the far-right commentator started yelling, “You fucks are going to get it.”

“You fucks are going to get it,” he shouted. “You fucking child molesters. I’ll fucking get you in the end. You fucks.”

And then he appeared to lose his presence of mind and become agitated.

And a large brain. He’s, like, really smart.

That’s the thing that just rings odd about this… Someone doth protest too much.

You’d think an innocent person who was unaware of anything lurking in their electronic data (which these days is always a real possibility) would be utterly horrified and racing to get a lawyer to clear themselves, and as quietly as possible.

Certainly not making it extra big news by making death threats on some talk show.

But just look at that gut, his and Trump’s are the bestest guts out there.

The braggadocio has no senso, so you can’t proscribe rational acts for an irrational person.

I’m disappointed he didn’t segue into an infomercial for some bogus supplement or gold coin sales.

He’s incorrigible in a brainless Roger Stone sort of way. He’s so stupid, he probably has a Trump tattoo on his back.

Many people are saying so.

Except that Jones lives out there where having the police show up accusing you of something is really the Deep State trying to shut you down, so he’s going to go there with something like this. And, I suspect there was a bit of panic on his part, because one thing his audience doesn’t like is child molesters (remember you hear that all that time about LGBT people from Jones and his ilk). Having one (allegedly) in his camp will really hurt him with the people he’s grifting, and he has to be getting desperate with his recent reversals, so this could really be the death knell.

It’s really not his fault if an employee was passing child porn on company email, it’s the responsibility of the employee (and if, like most employers, he’s not checking for things like that it will get through). The karmic return on his past behavior is pretty high on this though, and he’s just made it worse by throwing out threats at lawyers. As I said, serves him right.

Does anyone who knows more about him than me say whether he’s more acting than crazy or what? Somehow I never bought it myself. But there are people who are crazy in just the right way for their roles, like president of the United States, so I’m mildly curious.
