So what?
Obamaâs a nice guy and all, but I would t want him to be my odds maker at the track if 2016 was any indicationâŚ
Obama: âHow many times have you fired Gary Busey so far?â
I guess the question is what, if anything, 2016 indicates about his judgment here. I think I could pretty successfully argue that ânothingâ is what it indicates. And if every judgment call you ever made panned out perfectly then youâre obviously the richest person in the world and Iâd like to borrow some money from you.
Probably should have taken that advice. Heâs going to go down in flames. Again.
Nothing like good gossip to start the day.
I agree wholeheartedly with your postâŚexcept for one word:
âgoodâ
(the is an Obama soft-hit to see what happens)
Obama was correct, Hillary won the popular vote by 3Million, something that Trump canât stand to be reminded of.
Best quote from the NYT article:
At one hearing, while Mr. Biden pontificated at length, Mr. Obama passed a note to an aide: âShoot. Me. Now.â
And lost the electoral by 80K that were exactly where they needed to be. Just saying.
Welp, this sure beats talking about Obstruction of Justice
McCarthy: âEverybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because sheâs untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened, had we not fought.â
Plus Russians
Just Sayinâ
If we all had a crystal ball that was working in 2016âŚ
Probably should have visited Wisconsin.
He was also a great President, but he helped blow the whole 2016 election. He did not go public with the âRussia helping Trumpâ thing because he did not want to appear like he was trying to influence the election and felt Hillary would win anyway. And this is just as bad, the states Hillary barely lost in (PA, MI, WI) were states Biden would have won since he relates to those working calls folks better.
Letâs just say Iâm not a big Obama fan, making this story âgoodâ gossip for me. If that still makes me a racist, so be it.
Itâs probably not worth more than 50 posts (NYT loves to gossip with Maggie Haberman(?) doing her sleazy best) but Biden was the perfect VP. While Obama was aloof in dealing with Congress, Biden was always there âpressing the fleshâ. And when Obama lost round one in the debates to pandering Romney, Biden followed up with a strong performance in his first VP debate. So why Obama discouraged Biden is hard to figure unless he was helping the âIâm With Herâ crowd to clear the field for HRC to become Queen. Biden was the sitting VP and well liked. Probably all BS.
Looking back, that wasnât the best call. I was ready to support Joe Biden for the Dem nomination if he ran.
Doesnât it? Itâs fun to have these tidbits to giggle over. I just hope to hell thereâs also a team of NYT folks looking into stuff like international money laundering. They did quite a good and consequential job a while back with the tax fraud project, seriously.
Trying to seperate Joe from the thing heâs best liked for.
In your entirely objective opinion.
