Not going to end well for Mr. Frein …
If we were really serious about catching this guy. we’d evacuate 100 sq miles of known folks than napalm the whole area. Twice, three days apart. Then after the flames die off, send in the cadaver dogs to find his body. If a few innocents get killed in the process, so be it.
But we’re only really serious about hunting & killing terrorists in other countries.
I just don’t understand how he’s eluding them this long with police dogs tracking him in a limited area.
“planned to leaved the state”??
Wanted: Copy Editor
Shorter police, “we don’t have a clue.” If you were Frein would you have hung around after the second encounter? Me neither.
He’s going to run low on supplies at some time and it gets mighty cold in western Pennsylvania come November.
Fox still ignoring it?
Cold War reenactment groups? What do they do, sit in a room staring at each other menacingly with their fingers over a red button?
while his sister told Reuters that she believed he had left the area.
Based on what?
I presume that the leaf canopy will be gone in a few more weeks. Then Mr. Frein will be vulnerable to tracking from the air. That he is now losing his cached supplys will hasten the end game.
He is a fanboy of Serbia’s or the SRPSKA Republic’s army? Well, all righty then! If he’s captured alive, let’s indite him for war crimes also.
It’s fixin’ to get real cold real quickly out there…
Are you serious?
To kill a dangerous screwball you propose to use napalm to defoliate a 100 sq mi area, that almost certainly contains a considerable number of structures occupied by people and businesses.
Wow!
For starters:
- How will you control the fires starred by napalm?
- Where will you get enough napalm to cover 100 sq. mi.?
- Who pays for the aircraft and crews to drop the napalm?
Where’s your concern for collateral damage whether it be structures or people?
“If a few innocents get killed in the process, so be it.”
Oh, and its use on people is banned by UN convention.
Undoubtedly the dumbest comment I have ever read, and your competition is extensive.
I don’t think it was meant seriously. The last line draws a contrast between the way our forces abroad and police domestically deal with opponents (at least so long as those domestic opponents are white).
Then you don’t have his knowledge & skills. There are ways to keep ahead of dogs & they’re not perfect; they’re not easy ways, & they require doing things that are highly desperate, risky & beyond the vast majority of people, but there are people who take an extreme interest in the skills necessary to evade them & the police, & obviously Fein is among them.
Making it particularly difficult is that Fein’s last stand is very likely to involve trying to pick off some leos under cover & at distance. Just consider for a bit how that would make YOU feel & act if you were among those leos.
Nah, they’re more into the post-apocalypse scene.
They’re more into playing out the Cold War turning into the hot war of their fantasies.
Maybe he’s planning a “Shawshank Redemption” scenario where he somehow manages to slip out of the woods dressed in a suit and tie to blend into everyday society. Until then, he still seems to have the high ground covered in the woods that surround him, if he can still detect the approaching law enforcement after him all this time. Sick but clever little fucker. He’s not long for this world however. Let’s hope they get his ass soon.
I don’t know. Eric Rudolph managed to elude police for years, both because he was willing to live low and poorly, and in part because some locals were sympathetic to him and his goals.
Christopher Dorner managed to elude the police for a bit, but he wasn’t smart. Trying to steal a boat was beyond dumb, going to a tourist area, even if more remote wasn’t smart either. There was a shocking amount of sympathy for this bad guy, too.
It seems like if you’re super paranoid, are willing to scrounge for food and truly live off the grid you have better odds of eluding capture for a time. Hope they catch him sooner rather than later.
What Church does this fukker belong to?
