Most, or probably all, would make compromises to win elections. None of them would feel the Bern all the way to a predictable Trump victory.
because the nation had a horrify, and then a sad, and then things were never the same any more. dude was the first Catholic POTUS, a bonafide World War II hero, a sharp dresser, stunning wife and little kids in ankle socks and mary janes they wrote “Sweet Caroline” for. then there was a HUGE shock (I still know people that saw their lives as in before and after he was murdered) and then a huger SAD that burned right into the country’s psyche. The politics were really pretty secondary to most folks, too. So it really didn’t matter how crappy/not crappy he was as a POTUS.
