I think the judge is handling this just right. Enough evidence is going in to show the lavish lifestyle, but not enough to trigger a reversal by the appellate court.

I agree with Cillizza assessment, as does Tim O’Brien who is about the only guy who personally deposed Trump and won his lawsuit against him. Trump is SO STUPID, that he doesn’t really understand anything that he doesn’t know from personal experience. I think he really does believe he can go into an interview and snow Mueller and his team.
Now we all know what a disaster that would be, especially when they prop three boxes of documents on the table and show him that he just lied 47 times in the first 10 minutes of the interview, but I expect Mueller is the flame, and Trump is the moth.
Mueller will dumb down any list of questions that is presented to the Trump legal team, just so he can get Trump face-to-facc. Then Mueller and his team will get him to blow his top in front of multiple witnesses, and duly report the whole works to the Congress. Trump is an EASY mark, just ask Putie and Kim.

These types corrupt everything they touch. If they were to buy a profitable hamburger stand, they would add sawdust to the burgers or dilute the soft ice cream to increase their profit. In their world guys like us – and Mueller – are suckers.

Why is murder off the list ? I think Trump is very capable of cold-blooded murder as required to push his objectives. Putin does it, so Trump probably thinks its OK, since Putin is one of his heroes. After all, BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED, he said he could shoot somebody on 5th Avenue and wouldn’t lose any voters, and he is right.
I’m all for forgive and forget, but anyone who voted for this loser in 2016 is nearly as stupid as Trump himself. ANYONE who spent as little 10 minutes reading Trump’s biographic information (David K. Johnson’s and Tim O’Brien’s work comes to mind) before 2016 could have predicted the last 18 months of chaos.
