Good lord, this just never ends…
This downpour of shoes is going to kill me before that bag of drugs ever gets the chance.
The plot thickens.
They’re going to need a bigger boat!
So was there a secret knock to get in? Wouldn’t it have been more productive to hold a GoToMeeting meeting with all these people traipsing into Trump Tower and then leaving?
How much you want to bet Sessions was there, stuffed under the room service cart or beverage table.
And just think all these people really, really cared about poor Russian orphans.
The sad thing - for our country - is that Trump will come out of unscathed thanks to the GOP silence.
And, I’m sure, a meeting of such high power players, with a couple close to Putin, was just a minor thing that didn’t lead to anything else. Sure. Definitely.
I wonder who they put the screws to in order to find out what really happened…news already came out that documents were passed from the lawyer to the Trump campaign, surely that won’t be the end of it.
(h/t @mattinpa)
So much for being Mr. Transparent, eh?
Was the other attendee called “John Barron”?
Remember Trump’s paranoid declaration that Obama had been “wiretapping” Trump Tower? Which he then expanded to bugging or any type of surveillance?
I always thought this was part deflection, and part a reflection of Trump’s deep fear of what the fruits of such surveillance would reveal, in terms of plots hatched at Trump Tower during the campaign.
And now we have this. Which in all likelihood is the tip of the iceberg. No wonder Trump was shitting his pants at the idea about possible surveillance of Trump Tower. I bet there’s plenty more to hide.
It is extremely plausible that this meeting didn’t provide the Trump campaign with any solid information. The whole point of it was to gauge Trump’s team receptivity to Russian help. Depending on how you look at it, he passed (or failed) with flying colors.

[/quote]At this point, it would be easier to list the Russians who were NOT invited to the meeting.
And the Democrats unwillingness to call the Republicans - all Republicans - traitors to their country.
Wait there’s more? Was Preshitident Trump the mystery man at the meeting?
As soon as I heard about this meeting I posted the humorous but rather more than half serious assertion that Donald Trump himself was at that meeting.
Is that the next shoe?
(I pointed out Veselnitskaya is attractive enough for a Slavophile lecher without impulse control to be at that meeting just to ogle the “goods”. And since she does not speak English he could even make lurid comments, winking at the spy-translator to “not translate that”.)
Good call. I think you were right.
Any time Trump launches an accusation, it is a tell. Any bizarre out of the blue accusation by Trump should be a red alert.
I’m sure they were just Emin’s favorite borscht recipes.
Are we sure this meeting didn’t occur up on Capitol Hill during a GOP House or Senate caucus? Cruz likes to pop up everywhere to lead them all in pray.
