So the recipe is to turn the WH into a huge grifting operation. Hire other grifters who get caught grifting. Then investigate them. Fire them. Hire worse grifters. Proceed.

This is a joke right… I am hard pressed to believe the White House cares… as long as Pruitt continues to roll back Obama era regulations he is good to go.

Pruitt is the most fetid part of “the swamp.”
They don’t care care. But the boss cares about negative stories. Too many of those and the hairy eyeball turns in your direction. He’s like Catch-22’s Colonel Cathcart, who judges everything by whether it’s a “black eye” or a “feather in my cap.” He’s all about the grifting, but black eyes are a no-no.
ETA: Just read in the The Atlantic that he asked the White House to approve hefty raises for two aides, the WH said no, so he rehired them under a different authority that gave him the power to grant the raises himself. WH is a bit ticked. Even the crookedest operation around frowns at insubordination.
He committed all the big acts of corruption giving free hand to every polluter that asked for a break and even to many that didn’t. And now he is deep kimchi for petty corrupteles like cheap rent, and taking the missus for a trip. Yeah Trump is very loyal.
The only thing going for him is that Trump also wants to fire Sessions, Rosenstein and Mueller. And Trump can’t think of too many things at once because his brain gets overwhelmed and losses control of his sphincter.
It’s the grifting revolving door that I find interesting.

In a White House known for its extensive wit that has been a long journey, but now it’s coming to an end. Either that or the copy has a typo and it’s really a story about the twit’s end.
Oh, I have a sneaky suspicion when all the shit settles (someday), we’ll learn how Dump and/or his evil spawn made oodles of money on investments during his many free-enterprise assaultung twitter storms.
OT, but:

Guess who gets the blame?
Not only can he not stand anyone out grifting the grifter and getting the attention, Trump seems to be in one of his constant ranting phases. Complete loss of logic instead of his normal unconnected foolishness. An example was Monday at the Easter egg hunt. If I had a crazy uncle, then that is how I think he would behave.
This usually means Trump knows something is about to ‘pop’ and he is mentally on the run. Normal mobsters would head for the Poconos or some cheap dive on the waterfront, but Fat Donny couldn’t stand the lack of phony opulence so he remains in public view.
I think he is coming apart which makes him more dangerous than ever before. At what point do we see an effort to invoke the 25th Amendment? Has anyone been tracking Pence’s calls and meetings over this Congressional break?
