Discussion: The Hits Keep Coming: WH Eyes Pruitt’s Travel, Security And Housing Expenses

Pruitt has also made unprecedented changes to his security detail, requiring round-the-clock service because of an apparent uptick in threats made against him.

So if Pruitt is so fearful of threats why were his security detail not in the room he while he was napping? Was he napping or cutting deals not for Trump?

ACORN? Statute of limitations up on all-purpose blaming them?

Fat Donny needs the attention just as a duck needs water, he’s just not as good at covering up the fact that he’s swimming in circles.

If I were you Mr Pruitt, I’d keep my desk packed up and ready to leave.

That guarantee is not worth the air it was wasted to issue. Trump and Kelly’s word are completely worthless.

And it seems he brought along his favorite Aligatorettes…

It would be interesting to see how many of them have been shorting stocks lately.

As Oklahoma AG, Pruitt was a leader in suing the EPA over every regulation. Much of the litigation was to protect the fracking industry in his home state. Because of fracking, Oklahoma has experienced more earthquakes than ever before.

But Pruitt just didn’t care. It meant more dollars for the state and himself. The state wants the money, but no telling where they are spending the money. Obviously not teachers.

He wants to go back to Oklahoma and run for Governor, but in the current ‘climate’ and teachers striking, if Trump has one of his goons fire Pruitt, then I am not sure if he has a future.

The next question becomes who becomes head of the EPA? There are qualified deputies within the organization but in recent weeks I have personally seen at least one of them making ever effort to keep their head below the radar.

his future in the energy industry is guaranteed.

Once he rolls them back, then he is gone

Isn’t that what happens (the administration commends you, pledges its allegiance) just before they fire you?

So I’m figuring that they’re investigating because someone has finally figured out that you can’t lie effectively about someone unless you know what the truth is. They’re tired of being embarrassed by saying things that get contradicted the next day. So prepare for a more coherent set of spin.

The chances of him getting canned just went up: Apparently last year he okay’d a pipeline owned by the hubby of the woman who co-owns the condo.

That’s gonna cause some pretty bad headlines. And with the Stormy Daniels/Karen Whazzerface (and a possible third one now) lawsuits heating up, Spanky’s gotta blow up at someone.

My guess is that Pruitt is in the barrel now and Spanky is loading up the shotgun.

so your pruitt deadpool guess is…?

ETA: This guy gets sentenced shortly: Alex van der Zwaan

A firing might be in order to distract.

Not sure if I’d go with the Hoarse Whisperer on Thurs 2 p.m., that might be overly optimistic.

On the other hand, the pressure is definitely building, so Spanky may have an itchy finger. My conservative guess is that he’s gone within 10 days at the latest.

A lot will depend on how the judges rule on pending lawsuits, etc. A couple of those go wrong for Spanky and he’ll blow faster.

Yup, that’s what I mean. He gets a couple of shots of bad news and he’s gonna go hunting scapegoats and taking distraction scalps. Pruitt is definitely on the list…

I will wait until I hear Trump say that Pruitt has his full confidence. That will be the kiss of death.

Don’t hold your breath for that. The likeliest scenario I think is a forced resignation and we’re a ways from that too.

I don’t disagree, but at the beginning of every week, I find myself hopeful. By Thursday I am depressed, and by Friday, I fall into the false hope that we will have a popcorn weekend.

And, then it starts over.

I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.
