Not that I can find . . . which is certainly nothing to go by
âYouâre not going to get intellectual consistency out of progressives. Youâre only ever going to get childishness and opportunism out of them,â he wrote. âSo the same people who are today demanding that every single Republican answer for Cliven Bundy, whether we leaped to his defense or not, pretend that Jeremiah Wright doesnât exist and that Barack Obama did not spend 20 years listening to the reverendâs racist rants.â
Speaking of inconsistency, how about those Republicans, who rant about Barack Obama spending 20 years listening to Jeremiah Wright while simultaneously complaining that heâs a God-hating Muslim atheist.
The GOP thought they had devised the next Ruby Ridge/Obamacare rallying point. But instead theyâve found themselves with another Palin. Republicans just canât do anything right anymore. Benghazi just wasnât doing the job so they got âcreativeâ again like W taking up painting to cover up his sins?
The about face out of Bundyâs butt reminds me of an image from the most recent CPAC convention. It was ostensibly a seminar on what the GOP can do to improve its standing with minorities and the hall was essentially empty. I mean, those attending the seminar (and not a part of it) probably could have carpooled in the same Mini Cooper. My feeling at the time was that OF COURSE Republicans really donât care about their standing with minorities, thatâs why theyâre investing so much time money and effort into suppressing their votes. Itâs easier.
But thatâs why they have to go all apepoop when a guy like Bundy, whom theyâve been championing as a real 'Murkan goes all Archie Bunker on national TV. Because the GOP has nothing to contribute and nobody to lead them. Right now, âGOPâ stands for âGlistening Object Party,â they flitter like liâl moths to a person who says what they want to hear, what they believe, and that light shines bright and attracts all of them, much like those bug zappers, they donât think about whatâs behind the light, only that theyâre attracted to it. And then they get zapped. And if they survive, they flitter over to the next Glistening Object that draws their attention. We saw it in the 2008 Primary Season, damn near every Presidential candidate at one point was considered The One For Mitt To Beat because he or she said something so anti-Democrats or anti-Obama or anti-environment or anti-education or anti-something most people want to see work, they swooned like our moms did listening to Elvis or the Beatles or Rod Stewart or NKOTB, I donât know how old your mom is, leave me alone. And one by one, those candidates wilted under the scrutiny of simple objective thought - what else has this candidate said? Was it stupid? - and the base who had been hailing that candidate as Our New Savior then had to scramble to find the next Glistening Object. Some candidates got the Glistening Object title more than once, after the gamut had been run and they were still denying that Romny would be their guy.
This is what the base of the Republican party does. Look for the next Glistening Object and then flitter to it. Itâs like when you were in high school and someone told the principal, who was kind of a pantload, to eff off; even though the got detention or worse, he was the hero, and you subsequently hoped every assembly there would be SOMEONE whoâd tell the principal to eff off, or moon him, or do something that would reflect your disdain. Only now, they vote for these idiots.
You do get intellectual consistency from conservatives. Just listen to Palin. Sheâs always a dingbat.
ââŚthe federal governmentâs continued overreachâŚâ
Theyâre spouting this line as if itâs actually any better! Asking people to pay a fee to use land they do not own and taking action after 20 years of refusals to pay are hardly overreach. If anything, the government shouldâve thrown this guy off the land after 6 months, like any landlord does with a deadbeat tenant
.
GOP Spokesman Cliven Bundy
Itâs beyond obvious that Cliven Bundy speaks for a substantial portion of modern GOPers. He is indeed a GOP spokesman, although somewhat unschooled in the dog-whistle techniques other GOP spokesmen have learned to employ.
More sophisticated GOP spokesmen like Sean Hannity attached their lips to Bundyâs posterior air-valve and inflated Bundy into a larger than life figure on the order of a Macyâs parade balloon and used him for their own purposes. The fact that Hannityâs lips are now super-glued to Bundyâs posterior air-valve is one of lifeâs delicious ironies. Picture Hannity walking around with his lips attached forever to the ass of an outsized Cliven Bundy balloon for a realistic picture of how craven the modern GOP has become.
I guess Republicans donât want anybody to remind them that Cliven Bundy represents the target Republican demographic to a tea and has since Lee Atwater and Richard Nixon invented the Southern Strategy.
whiny ass titty babies
I believe you are correct. CampaignMoney.com has a Donald E. Sterling donating to the RNC in 2012 and I think thatâs a different Sterling.
ROTFLMAO____The woowoo Rightie Cons have their heads in the toilet and just continue to blow bubbles!
Bundy is the gift that just keeps on giving!
Sorry GOPig Cons and Baggers and Rightie Pundits. Bundy is YOUR ââŚreal American patriotâ and weâre never gonnaâ let you forget that.
âThey want to say that conservatives are racist. Conservatives hate women,â Hannity said Thursday. "Conservatives want old people to die, granny over the cliff. They want the young people to fend for themselves. They want to poison the air and poison the water.
Wanna know why Hannity? BECAUSE ITâS TRUE!!
Watching the regressives squirm the last few days on the blogs has been a hoot.
They basically agree with his racism and thievery - but saying that is a NO NO!
This Bundy character is about as awesome as this new comment system
If olâ Prairie Welfare Queen Bundy can just find a way to tie BENGHAZI!!!, MLK and Obamacare together, FOX will forgive all and he, Hannity and OâReilly can resume their evening circle jerks.
Go for it Cliven: âIn Their Shriveled FOXbot hearts; they know youâre right!â
~snicker~!
Yup Republicans! It sure is interesting when Mainstream Republican and Conservative Thought is aired fully and publicly, huh?
You should be thanking Bundy and then continue to f*ck that Prairie Chicken!
âPeople that, for the right reasons, saw this case as government overreach now are brandedâŚâ
Sean, your entire premise is based on three words buried in this blurb⌠âfor the right reasonsâŚâ
The truth is, there were no ârightâ reasons, none at all, to support Bundy. It was NOT government overreach by any definition but your deeply politically prejudiced opinion. This was as simple as back payments catching up with a scofflaw, you made a wingnut hero out of that.
What Bundy did simply wanât right, and people like you enabled a lot of crazy gunheads to think it was because you hate our President and Progressives in general much more than you love our country.
Take away that falsehood that there ever was a âright reasonâ for your provocative journalism and, like all of FOX News information, everything built on that lie collapses.
Uggâll tell you something else about racist boneheadsâŚ
Oh that is much much better than my âlies down with fleas.â Your granny had a way with words.
Clivenâs twin brother CravenâŚ
