I rarely agree with some of the local critics that TPM tends to get involved in these incestuous exchanges between journalists, but this one belongs in the dust bin. It is vanity upon vanity.

But, then, I always thought ā€œA Chorus Lineā€ was an exercise in entertainment industry narcissism, so maybe its just me.

That being said, the Daily Caller is one of the worst examples of yellow-bellied journalism in the history of media.

Anyone who affords Carlson credibility deserves contempt from serious journalists who care about the truth.

I agree. These idiots are fking with the first rule of journalism we were taught in college - donā€™t make the story about YOU!!! Nobody should give two poops about what either of these ā€œreportersā€ are writing unless itā€™s direct commentary or factual stories about the Michael Brown killing.

Howley is such smug, entitled, right-wing asshole that he makes Trust Fund Tucker Carlson seem almost like a real person.

Howley is also an execrable ā€œjournalist,ā€ and he wouldnā€™t know a good story if it sneaked up behind him and hit him upside his wooden head.
