It’s possible republicans are getting ready to cut tRump loose - I have thought all along that their plan is to install pence around mid-term so that they can run him in 2020. 2018-2019 gives just enough time for the country to still be in the pence “honeymoon” period, grateful tRump is gone, but not yet fully aware of what a disaster his replacement is. tRump not completing his term is the best chance repubs have at winning 2020 presidential race.

Still feel like the time frame got sped up. Everything is a whirlwind and it does not make functional sense to me. Mueller must be getting really close in that rear view mirror.

I’ll tell this one OT story and then I have to leave for an appointment.
We live behind a restaurant here in Taos, called Guadalajara Grill. We clean the house on Sundays and then my husband walks around the corner and gets us dinner at Guads to eat at home.
He came back last night and said: Guads was empty except for one group in the back. I said O? What was that about. He said - Donald Rumsfeld. It was Rumsfeld and some other people.
Rumsfeld owns a ranch here but there haven’t been any Rumsfeld sightings for years until last night. I damn near ran around the corner to yell at Rumsfeld but didn’t. I was shaking I wanted to so bad. hahaha

I have been wondering that since last week, expecting this week to be very busy. It looks like was a prime time to start launching missiles after Strzok’s hearing. I wondered if any thing would happen today though. This §resident may have done Mueller and every other entity involved in ferreting this all out. There is no reason for artifice and tact anymore.

A Washington-based pro-gun activist affiliated with the National Rifle Association (NRA) has been charged with spying in the US for Russia.
Maria Butina was charged with conspiracy to act as an agent of the Russian federation within the US without prior notification to the attorney general.
Butina, 29, was arrested on Sunday and appeared before a magistrate in Washington on Monday, according to the US justice department.
She is known as a protege of Alexander Torshin, a Russian former state banker, who met Donald Trump Jr for dinner at the NRA’s 2016 convention. Torshin was placed under sanction by the US in April this year.
A Justice Department press release said Butina had been “developing relationships with US persons and infiltrating organizations having influence in American politics, for the purpose of advancing the interests of the Russian federation.”

This horror, or the whole last week, for that matter, don’t surprise. It’s the total silence of anyone who used to claim they were in the party of patriotism and law and order that’s the biggest constant story. If only reporters would put some effort into pressing these feckless c-words about it, at least for the historical record.
