Trump + Mitch McConnell + Paul Ryan - those three will go down in a heap of trash in US History and the single weakest and most incompetent group heading the 3 branches of elected government. John Roberts will be remembered as the Chief Justice who lost his way by ignoring precedent and settled law in favor of US Monopolies and the Oligarchy rulers that run the Republican Party.

We are witnessing the fall of the US Democracy as the .1% class and their three weaklings in Trump-McConnell-Ryan rule to prop up the rich but highly incompetent inheritance class. The likes of the Trump’s, the Koch’s, the Walton’s, the Bush’s, and the rest of the inheritance class is making America weak. Inheritance is NOT what the founding fathers wanted to lead this nation…they were all about those who work hard and stand on merit. Today’s US is all about skin tone and being a member of the inheritance class…look at the weak Bush kids and the weak Trump kids. That is what is making America a joke…not immigrants breaking their backs to find and carve out a better life.
America needs hard working immigrants…and NOT soft rich white brats who get everything handed to them including a judicial system that allows them to cheat out of the draft and cheat out of paying taxes!

This reminded me of Rick Pitino’s series of non-sequitur answers when the newspaper reports came out about his first scandal as Louisville coach, the one that included his having had sex with a woman in the party room of a restaurant. His responses were to blame the press for reporting the story on the anniversary of Ted Kennedy’s death, and to invoke the death of an acquaintance of his who died on 9-11 at the WTC .

Why yes, yes Putin did …by saying that he did want trump to win and directed his people to help out in that regard… when asked by Jim Acosta.
So the take away as I understand this is: trump says Putin denied meddling in our election but Putin said that his people did indeed meddle at his direction in our election. All of this being recorded for posterity on videotape.
As a member of Congress said…“Something isn’t right here.”

As to why Putin has such a total hold over Trump, the answer could be very simple and somewhat pedestrian (as opposed to stunning).
Trump is a malignant narcissist, and a feature of that personality disorder is that he is very impressed with “strongmen”. For example, it is generally not believed that Kim Jong Un has any dirt on Trump, or that Trump is financially compromised with the North Koreans. Yet Trump was fawning over Kim (and Kim played him perfectly) – Trump couldn’t even resist saluting one of Kim’s generals. And Trump has consistently fawned over other autocrats and dictators. Putin is the ultimate: of all of them, he has the most power. There likely is also some hold over Trump from Russian money (and maybe/maybe not salacious material), but I’m inclined to think that Trump’s severe disorder (it is a severe mental disorder) locks in perfectly with Putin’s stature (as measured by Trump), and the combination is sufficient in itself to produce what we are witnessing.

The word “treason” is often thrown out there in discussions of the antics of the Mango Menace, but it’s becoming more and more obvious that such a word is not just mere hyperbole.
