Excellent. Now add a flyer to all of the Texas Polling stations stating that Trump Supporters are voting on November 28th.

“You always hope that it is not is an effort to disenfranchise certain voters.”

But you know it is, so why do we keep pretending, especially in this particular election and in this particular state?

Jail every single person involved. Make them convicted felons who can’t vote, or own guns. Hit them where it hurts most.

On account of him ‘feeding the dogs’ that were lurking outside his ‘house’, I’d like to ‘thank’ John Roberts for creating this opportunity.

Good job, John, good job.

These kinds of dumb shenanigans passed muster when Texas was a reliably red state, but now that demographics have put it on a course to purple the good ol’ boys will have to get cleverer. Considering the intellectual heft of those they’ve sent to represent them in the House (Farenthold and Gohmert, among others), that’ll be tough.

Yet another example of how the Republicans are engaged in voter fraud. They are working overtime to rig the election.

Then this is Texas and they are always telling us how they do things bigger in Texas.

What’s odd is when I voted yesterday (Williamson County) I showed them my ID and they didn’t seem interested in it. Same with the woman behind me. In previous election they scrutinized it.

“Because of the high volume of voters, they are
probably unwittingly not being completely accurate,”
said Hector DeLeon, a spokesman for the clerk in Harris
County, which includes Houston.

" and pssst … if we unwittingly don’t try too hard, maybe we’ll get away with it !" —

Look, you don’t need to vote. You’re going to vote wrong anyways. Stop trying to think for yourself - you are pissing off the heavily armed patriot rubes.

Is Texas’ Secretary of State not in contempt of court? Lock him up!

At what point will “Justice” Roberts and his “conservative” colleagues admit they erred in gutting the Voting Rights Act?

I did predict that this sort of passive-aggressive oops sorry I guess we didn’t get the message out properly sort of thing was going to happen. And nothing will be done.

“You always want to believe that these are merely errors that could be fixed with better training, or errors based upon inconsistent information,” Scott Rothenberg, the attorney, said. “You always hope that it is not is an effort to disenfranchise certain voters.”

You’re cute…

shouldn’t lorretta lynch be on this???or is she gonna be a eric holder s no show on any issue…one of the things that have ppissed me off about Obama and his appointments to crucial offices in our govt

“Because of the high volume of voters, they are probably unwittingly not being completely accurate.”

“Probably.”

Admit it? They always knew.

Ginsburg’s dissent:

“Throwing out preclearance when it has worked and is continuing to work
to stop discriminatory changes is like throwing away your umbrella in a
rainstorm because you are not getting wet,” Ginsburg wrote.

“[T]he Court’s opinion can hardly be described as an exemplar of restrained and moderate decision making,” wrote the leader of the court’s liberal wing. “Quite the opposite. Hubris is a fit word for today’s demolition of the VRA.”

“Congress approached the 2006 reauthorization of the VRA with great care and seriousness. The same cannot be said of the Court’s
opinion today… it relies on increases in voter registration and turnout as if that were the whole story,” she wrote.

Texas has successfully delayed things so that the damage is already being done. And throwing people in jail now would just create more disruption. So I strongly suggest DoJ make an example of them later. Criminal contempt plus criminal civil rights violation plus conspiracy.

If the Republicans lose Texas, they have a ‘stabbed-in-the-back’ defense ready.
