Bitching and pissing and moaning won’t help.

If there is a bigger group of 24/7 whiners and crybabies than the Regressive Republican party or Fox News, I wish someone would let me know who they are!

For people who constantly denounce “Northeastern Elitism,” the baggergeoisie certainly do seek out the approval and imprimatur of the elites.

Its extremely doubtful that Ted Cruz has 11,854 supporters that are capable of reading anything that doesn’t include numerous pictures on each page. So I am gonna go with the NYT on this one.

Reaching pretty far simply to claim victimhood. Soon, the GOP primary will be like 25 GOoPers crucified on a stage. The one that sheds the most tears and bawls the loudest while still saying offensive shit about not whites and women wins the nomination.

Lest anyone forget, HarperCollins is a politicized publisher owned by Rupert Murdoch, et alia. As such it has a long history of publishing lies, disseminating false narratives from its PR operation, and currying favor with political-types (Gingrich, among others) by printing their ghostwritten hackery. That they might try to manipulate the NYT List for Cruz is certainly par for the course. Please note the sense of entitlement displayed by the HarperCollins people.

Let’s explore Cruz’s best-sellers listing whine!
There are 50 states and Cruz sold 11,854 books in the first week or 237 books per state.
There are roughly 314 give or take million folks in the country! So using Cruz’s own number for the amount of books he’s sold, roughly 1 person out of every 26,488.94 people in the country bought his book, last week!
Now tell me, why should this book be on anyone’s best seller list?

Everyone knows that “best seller” and “top 20” list are made on solely on which corporation buys the “journalist” the best lunch that week, right? Right?

I was over at the county GOP headquarters earlier–I still can’t understand why they THINK I’m a Republican or even let me in–and they were harping about this as an example of the ‘Liberal Media’ at work.; really bitter about it too. Then I finally said, “You know why the GOP has a reputation for being a Whiners’ Club? Stuff like this.”

They got very quiet for maybe 20 seconds and then started up bitching some more about how unfair it all was.

Inside, I was laughing like hell.

The comments on the linked Politico article are hilarious.

The honorable Ted Cruz strikes terror into the hearts of progressives, God bless the man. This type of censorship is reminiscent of Stalin’s Russia, Hitler’s Germany, and Castro’s Cuba.

…

He strikes total fear to the progressives. He is easily the best candidate running as of today. Somehow he IS and will get buried by the MSM. The Donald strikes fear to the Stalinists because he shoots from the hip, but could be more eloquent.

…

Cruz is my candidate. Trump’s on my ‘watch list’. But the combination of the two, would be unbeatable.

I mean wow. What world are these folks living in?!

I wouldn’t buy a campaign book by ANY candidate, even one I really liked. They are all unreadable pap.

What I can’t fathom is…how is 12000 books enough to get someone on the best seller’s list even if it was the first week. That seems like small potatoes.

Funny how they trash the NYT constantly as the epitome of the “liberal media”, yet so desperately crave being on their bestseller list. I guess the “Washington Times bestseller list” doesn’t have the same cachet.

I doubt that the Times has any ulterior motive here. If they really wanted to fuck with Cruz they would have put his book on the fiction bestsellers list.

Now who is it that has the better investigative staff?

A national newspaper that does a bestseller list or the publisher of a book that desperately wants that book on that bestseller list?

There aren’t that many people who read books (assuming that anyone who buys Cruz’s Shakespearean epic actually get beyond page 6). Personally, I read a lot of books, but mostly get them from the library, since, realistically, I’m only going to read it once. In Cruz’s case that would be one time less than that.
