Well, I’m sure that there are RWNJs saying that the massacre was due in part to California’s strict gun laws.
At least if NRA’s reaction to the 2014 Isla Vista shootings is any guide: “The blame needs to be placed on the politicians in California who time and time again their answer to these issues are more and more gun control laws.”

It’s amazing to me how gun nuts forget about the “well regulated” part of the 2nd amendment. The founders recognized the dangers. The intent of that amendment was militias for state defense where members kept their gear at home for instant call up. It was not meant as a freebee so idiot ammosexuals could parade into Walmart with an AK and a pistol on their hip challenging everyone to hassle them. This image comes to mind for me:

I’m not sure about that anymore, Eric. It is apparent that to get a response from the goobers they appeal to ya gotta go deep into insane derp. If you take the “reasonable normal” road like Bush (GOPer style that is) then your popularity does a barrel ride over Niagara falls. It looks like if one of these nut job candidates were to plant a TATP bomb in a government building then the goobers would elect 'em by acclimation.
