I had this conversation just a few days ago. Cruz is not the “great debater” that his bio states. His “debating” style is not to logically and factually propose and counter arguments. Instead, he uses a grifter style of superfluous words (e.g., moderate rebels are like purple unicorns) which purposefully distract the listener from the topic. Uncritical listeners then apparently ascribe logical (factual?) thought to Cruz’s sleight of hand. Instead, it is nonsensical blather.

All cruz can do is deflect. Of course he cannot answer directly because we all know why they closed the particular offices. There is nothing put politics involved.
